Stephen Hunt That hasn’t been a period that I’ve looked at doing. I like the Cold War period and plan to do some WW2 stuff as well. I’ll also be doing more sci-fi in 6mm at some point.

Would you do videos on the basic paint job that makes for the better game? I'm getting back into 6mm after 30 odd years and have chucked the enamel covered H&R micro armour I painted as a kid into strip but I'm not too sure what will work at this scale (for the time and effort put it) despite being competent at painting 28mm. I assume undercoat (grey for dark, white for dessert) base, drybrush and wash (or possibly the other way around) and pick out detail like tracks; done. With so little 6mm content and only some of that covering armour, any re starters tips would be really useful. Cheers.

Basic paint jobs are my go to for pretty much any scale. I did a basic guide for 6mm tanks a while ago that might be useful to you. Your assumption is correct (at least for my process); I prime the models (I normally use white or grey), apply the base coat, wash and then drybrush to highlight. For 6mm, I don't paint the tracks separately, but you can if you like. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ep6kc6GIjbOhfck

Totally agree with H&R being the right spot for gaming. I've had issues with shipping (not their fault!) and their customer service has been excellent.

On the GHQ/CinC SA13 is the missile launcher backwards? Its got a small round radar dish between the missile tubes.

Yes, looks like it. The CinC just needs bending the other way, it would appear?
