Unboxing HobbyBoss's UH-34D 'Choctaw' in 1/72 Scale

Here is the Choctaw UH-34D, this is a helicopter I was really looking forward to unboxing! This was the main chopper used extensively by the US Marines throughout the Vietnam War. You can do a lot with this kit as you will soon see. I have to say I was happy with the overall interior but let down a lot by the gun detail. The molding however, is clean crisp and well lets jump in!

Nice unboxing video! I built several Italeri S-58's and was curious about the HobbyBoss. I too like the simplicity of this kit where other newer kits really overdo the number of parts and complexity of the build. The surface detail on the HobbyBoss fuselage halves is far too extreme to my taste but nothing that a good sanding won't fix. Thank you!
