Ive been using this for a year, when you turn it on and for most of the time, no it does not make any sound but if it starts to overheat ( usually happens when you use zoom for 9 hours, it will start to make fan noises but it will stop when it cools down )

It’s still working perfectly, and I can say that if younare doing just the normal task it will last about 4-6 hrs
