I also picked up that set while the sale was going on. I really like the quality of their sockets, extentions, adapters, etc. Using chrome-moly steel instead of chrome vanadium, along with the shallow broaching, were the main reasons I started buying Icon. The ratchet did have a lot of backdrag, but a clean, re-lube, and small adjustment of the spring makes a huge difference for that. Im waiting to get one of the new gen2 ratchets to replace the one in the kit with anyway. Either that, or just use my Tone or Koken. Imo, they include the best cases out there, so I'm just going to leave mine in it.

Good info here thanks I haven't bought any Ratchets besides what came in the 1/4 and 3/8 sets. Let's see what the gen 2 brings

They are a nice set. I returned mine when I found it did not includie the 4 and 4.5 mm sockets and bought the Quinn master set.
