The 7th gen iPad is an AMAZING device for those that can’t afford the pro. I recommend it for all of my friends who don’t wish to buy a more expensive model because it does a lot of what the new ones do! I love mine to bits and it’s the smaller size one. I wouldn’t trade it for the world because it does so much for me and helps me create my wonderful art. I have a boyfriend that has the latest iPad Pro but even then that doesn’t make me envious. I seriously love mine and I know you’ll grow to love yours too!

a lot of tech reviewers have said that the apple's pro range is for the (pro)fessionals, the people who make money with the pro devices. students, who will only be using it for note-taking and as a consumption device, DEFINITELY do not need it!! 😊 and especially because most of us are still using our parents' money anyway..

hi guys :D i think there is some kind of misunderstanding and i just want to clarify 9:03 the doodle in the left side is own by art of sibbil, i'm not the one that drawing it, i just put the photo on one of the layer and try to learn doodle by looking at her art :) what i draw is in the right side that i shoot the process of it the drawing in the right side is from a photo of real people in pinterest and trace it :) and about purchasing ipad 7th i don't feel bad for getting ipad 7th, so please stop the comment “don't feel bad”, esp "i don't even have ipad", "i don't even have money", "i only have old android phone" etc. nothing comes good from comparing yourself with others :) i aim for ipad pro but it doesn't mean i don't like or not grateful with ipad 7th because it is such an amazing device and there is reason why i aim for ipad pro, because the device can help me through my job as an interior designer and architect, for 3d presentation to my client through ipad , and also other things so whoever said that pro is not necessary, or there is no differences between 7th and pro, i think you need to do more research, they have ipad pro device for reasons :) so why i aim for it, is not merely just because it is an ipad pro and i need it just to doodle or taking notes if it just for simple sketch, or taking notes i will legit 100% go for ipad 7th or even less. because they do those jobs perfectly. no need ipad pro. back to my previous statement again, i love my ipad 7th, and i grateful for that, ipad pro just for another time or maybe never, i don't know yet but for the next several years, i will use my ipad 7th wholeheartedly **sorry for my broken english lol and i'm not offended, but i think i need to reply one of this kind of comment because i got too many like this, and i think they just need a lil bit of understanding or story from my side :) Thankyou for watching! hope you enjoy it :)

I got mine just a week ago. I settled in getting the ipad 7 coz I don’t really think I can maximize the potential usage of the pro’s. I just think it’s a waste of money coz I use my ipad to watch videos and at the same time back up for my phone if it’s charging. I’m a nursing student, and my hobby is drawing/painting and I ended up spending a little extra to get the iPad Air, but I definitely think the pro is way too expensive and more for professionals. There is nothing wrong with the 7th gen, it’s still an amazing device especially for the price! I prefer drawing on a laminated screen, and that’s the only reason I upgraded to the Air, that and for the 64GB.

Brenda Guzmán Hidalgo generally 64 gigs are enough. At least in my case. As long as you don’t waste space with huge downloads you should be fine. You can also just use procreate and good notes with cloud.

I bought a mini 5th gen. I honestly regret nothing. It’s a super portable size for students and has a lot of the same features and tech specs! I love it! Use Amazon for a case that will lay down and stand up. You might come out better using a screen protector that feels like paper for better drawing ..it would feel a lot better when doing pictures, it’s called Anti Fingerprint/ Anti Glare by SuperShields....Give it a try you may just like it. It’s what I use and I love it when doing my drawings 💯 percent. 😉👍🏽

Hey, I just found this in my recommendations. Actually 7 days before my birthday (as a birthday gift and because I did not have a proper device for online classes), my dad bought me the iPad 10.2 with the first gen apple. With it he bought me good notes and procreate. For the first few days I was super greatful and happy but then I started watching a lot of people doing the new iPad pro unboxing. This made me feel outdated and uncomfortable but KZbinrs like you make me feel like it's okay to have any device. Thank you from stopping me feeling uncomfortable. Much love 💜💜

Oh wait i m a tech nerd (sorry) So ipad vs mini vs air vs pro Normal ipad is the cheapest out There, has a support for 4 more years Mini has support for 4 more years As welll, but in terms of performance ipad 7th gen and mini is what to get, air is just kind of overpriced, and mini will give u some life o bout mine in 2013 1st gen still works great to this day(idk to be happy or sad) then the ipad pro that thing is litteraly a all in one computer u can use it as a portable monitor, it has built processor so it can be used as a daily tablet, it is more powerful than the ps4 and xbox and most laptops, the screen is perfect for drawing, if u want an ipad pro to draw on go for the 11inc or 12 ig the bigger one, ipad mini and pro are the top of the line devices currently mini is almost as powerful as pro but the price point (399$) makes the budget weak so u should have gone for the mini but ipad 7th gen will not betray you Edit- this is the 1st time i ever wrote a big comment like this

@@lavanka8695 s6 is good but s6 lite is not worth it, if you are comfortable with android go with s6 or s5e s6 lite is just tab s2 in a s6 body and surface go is amazing if u need a daily laptop\tablet but i will still prefer ipad because of its reliablity

I actually would recommend saving money just for the iPad Pro cause the second generation Apple Pencil is such such a great upgrade. I had the 2016 iPad Pro which uses the first generation Apple Pencil. I then switched to the 2018 iPad Pro which uses the second generation. The experience is just way better, in terms of writing, charging, portability. If you cannot afford the newest one, consider buying the 2018 model, they are basically the same except for the camera.

I currently use an Ipad 2 for reading and content consuming. I wanted to buy an Ipad Pro 2018 but it is really expensive. Judging by the previous,10 Ipad Pro it won't get any cheaper than 500 euros. For my multitasking and for avoiding buying a new laptop in a couple of years I would go for a 12.9 but I can't blow 1000 euros for not quite a laptop since my work requires Matlab and like. Mobile versions aren't quite the same. So I thought, why bother buying an 11 Pro when you can buy a two times cheaper Ipad 7? It's enough for making notes and I don't believe multitasking would be any different on a budget version. Will wait for a discounts period still.

because the paperlike is kinda expensive, and i spend quite a lot in the apple pencil and ipad already :") hahaha so next time, i'm gonna purchase again with other acc for my ipad. maybe after a month or so. the glass one is quite slippery, but still manageable actually. 😊 for the price, because im an indonesian, and dollar rate is increasing so much, from 14k to 16k idr. the apple product's price also affected. so i recommend to buy it when the dollar rate is in normal price (if your country usd rate also increasing). i need this quite urgent, because of my other work. that's why i cant pushed back the purchase :(

@@__pururu I'm Indonesian btw wkwk. The ipad's price is actually make sense but the pencil not. Last time I saw it was around 2.7M or around 170 USD, and the official price is only 99. I was like oh okay that's just no, even my phone is cheaper. I saw some cheap alternative of paperlike on marketplaces, but not sure of the quality. Maybe you can look if you want to try. Other alternative for ipad, tab s6 lite just open pre-order but the price is 7M around 460 USD, the thing is some US comment said that the lowest is around 350 USD, maybe it's wifi only but still, I feel so betrayed. And I don't really need it, I just want it to do some drawing, so maybe I'm just gonna see if this phase of wanting ipad pass or not wkwk.

The a little bit known brand like nilkin(?) is around 250. It's on Shopee, I always use Shopee, let's say I'm a hard Shopee stan wkwk but for expensive stuff I would trust lazada to toped more haha

I don’t feel bad for getting the 7th gen. I would not do more things on the pro so it would have been pointless to buy that (expensive for me anyways). I always loved the white bazels and the home button. I have small hands so it fits perfectly. The screen size is as big as it needs to be for me. I don’t understand why people are sorry for not getting the pro, the iPad is a great device 👩🏼‍💻

All of the current iPads are fantastic, especially as they all support the Apple Pencil. Not many people really need the iPad Pro and the regular iPad offers better value for the price.

I really want to get into digital art I've tried using cheap drawing tablets but I just didn't like how many cords and stuff there is to do to set them up, So I heard about Procreate and how wonderful it is on the Ipad Pro, but I'm gonna safety assume that the Ipad 7 is just as good for a beginner like me that is. I'd figure I could have something to take with me than having a $400+ drawing tablet at home.

what are your thoughts about having a tempered glass on your ipad while using an apple pencil? i have a tempered glass on and i use an adonit note stylus, i dont know if its just the stylus or the glass is just slippery thats why it's pretty tricky to write nicely. should i remove the tempered glass for a better writing feel? i use the same ipad also.

actually sometimes it feel quite slippery too, but i haven't felt that is uncomfortable enough so for this time being, i will still stick with tempered glass until i purchase my matte/paperlike screen protector :D
