I also have this iPhone XS Max 2nd hand also and been using it for about a year already. It can still keep up with the latest units of iPhones tbh. And what I loved abt this phone is the camera. I find it super natural unlike with the latest ones. There's nothing wrong if you but a 2nd hand but make sure it's worth the price. This is just my honest review and opinion. ❤

I recently purchased a 64gb used xs max. It’s still a fantastic phone and it meets ALL my needs although the battery life is not optimal (this is probably because it’s a used phone), BUT it’s still performing flawless on a daily use. Congratulations on your new device ❤

You can check the iphone's battery health before purchasing, my recommendation is to not buy phones under 80battery health, hope this helps

I have this phone from last 4 years and it's still working great, the battery health is 77% which still last's whole day and camera is also pretty good. I want to upgrade to newer models but only pro versions have telphoto lens and they are very expensive. So am sticking with this one as long as i can.

I am thinking you should change the battery by going to a phone repairer, because my dad has an iPhone SE 1st generation, and has battery health at 79%, his phone becomes 1 percent in probably 15 minutes, wanna know how the phone got to 79%? Because I used the iPhone SE 1st gen for school to call my parents, and as of 2022, my dad said I charged it every time, every night, every time after school etc. Now I've learned it drains the battery health, I didn't know about it when I was a kid, you know how kids are. And my dad can't go to a phone repairer because at my current country I am living doesn't have phone repairing shops that much, kind of difficult to find.

@@REALMichael2011 The XS Max is pretty good, but since the iPhone 14's came out, I recommend you to get at least an iPhone 11, or an 11 Pro, if you've got enough in your wallet, I am pretty sure the 11's now cost like the 10's. It's just my recommendation, you don't have to take my recommendation if you want to.

I can’t imagine getting a 2018 phone in 2022. Like sure it still works nicely now, but it’s got a limited number of years left at that point before it stops being able to keep up with modern software. Hope you’re still happy with it, more power to you if you are, but in future, it probably makes more sense to get a refurbished phone that’s a couple gens old than a sealed phone that’s four gens old.

Hi po! Just to remind you, Apple doesn’t restock iPhone XS Max anymore. It stopped restocking years ago. The reseller that told you it’s brand new sealed is a hoax. Sorry to burst your bubble, that’s why it won’t turn on the “first time” you tried turning it on. It may look new, but it’s really a second hand model.

The phone can't be new, already used for years then they refurbish it in China factory to look brand new that's why it could not turn on, they probably replaced the motherboard. If you want brand new un-activated buy 11 series.
