Don't know why, but i saw a couple online that came with black fretboard binding instead of white. No clue about production batches or else, but some were manifactured with black binding. The red stained model too had some with black binding. I have a feeling you can only find out once opening the box, because i have'nt seen that detail advertized or any info online. But some were definitly made with black binding.

Hey Billy! I actually ran the camera the whole time I did this Mod Project. Turned out to be over 3 hours of video sooo, I'm attempting to cut it down to a 6 Part Series with time lapse & voice over elements (first time doing this type of video so I'm having to learn & work some things out). Oh & by the way, the guitar turned out awesome!!!

I shot all the footage for the upgrade time lapse video but, it ended up being like 4 hours long. I cut it down to 5 smaller videos and had started working on the edit process and then had other projects that came about and never got around to finish so, looks like I need to get my ass motivated to finish these videos and get them released. I have had a lot of interest in them it’s just that I work a full time job and it’ extremely hard to find time for editing. It’s so tedious!

Yes, right now I’m working 6 separate videos modding each part of the guitar and then after that I will be doing a complete Gear Share on the finished project. At this point, the guitar is fully modded and turned out soooo much better than originally anticipated.

Is there anyway to tell the difference between the js22 and 24? I ordered a 24 from guitar center, but the fretboard looks lighter like the 22. I’m wondering if they sent the wrong one.

The js22 has a poplar/NATO body while the js24 has a mahogany body. The js24 has a baked maple neck , while the js22 has a maple neck with amaranth fingerboard.

No, it only has a 2 point tremolo as a bridge & not a Floyd Style.

Ive used this guitar for over 2 years now and its a shredder in its stock position i have no issues with it other than some minor setup changes like he says in the video and i have no issues with the high notes. In honesty i can take this guitar over some of my higher end guitars
