Why is a 6M better looking, better equipped, better finished with a better cab and more ergonomic than a new 5r which is supposed to be premium? We have a 5r and it comes over as a cheap copy of the M.

5R and 6M are tow different tractors. the 5R is also premium. The new 6M has a wheelbase off 2400 cm and the 5R has less. The new 6M 4cilinder is the same as a 6030 4 cilinder. Customers were complaining that the 6130R was to big and olso the old 6M was to big. So John Deere came with this new 6M. The new 5R is a replacemnt of the old 5100R mannheim. So sir you bought also a premium tractor.

I'd agree that the 5R does have some cheap feeling aspects to it, for example the glass creaks when driving and the front screen leaks water when washing the tractor. The transmission is also a little clunky at times in automatic mode. However the cab in the 5R is high quality in my opinion and there's nothing wrong with it compared to this 6M. You've also got to remember that the 6M is a price range higher and such would be expected to have a slightly better refinement to the product

@@Chieftain7530 idk, ours is from 2018 and compared to our '99 6610 or '15 6140R the cab is very inferior. No trim on most of the stiles, apparent welds, poorly fitting trim, roof panel covered with some awful impossible to clean synthetic rug that was stained from greasy fingers before delivery, the ventilation control panel isn't lit which makes it completely invisible at night (just to name a few of many "minor" issues that add up) Ours just spent 2 months at the dealer ENTIRELY dismantled for a recall issue regarding faulty brakes. (they had to remove the cab, rear axle, gearbox, front axle and fuel tank) We asked to fix the clunky gearbox and coupling pedal while it was there, which they tried but to no avail. It's still as frustrating and dangerous to operate.

Is this tractor good.Im from greece and here some people have promblem with new john deere, ecu promblem engine promblem.i have 6200 but have some hours but is good machine.Yours new tractor is good?
