Hi thanks for responding to my comment it did not allow me to respond to your comment but no I'm returning the item because I think it's a problem with the magnetic breakaway cord I've decided to go to the electric skillet route because it seems all deep fryers now have the magnetic breakaway cord and I just didn't find it very stable😊😊😊 have a blessed day from Toronto😊

@LazarickHomestead well at least it doesn't have a magnetic breakaway cord LOL and you can also put it to what temperature you want and it's small enough to go on the stove so the exhaust will go through the range hood my mom had one many moons ago when I was a kid and honestly I would have ordered it first if I had of known about these stupid cords that all deep fryers have now also you were saying about you wanted a food processor I bought a mini processor from Walmart for like $20 off their app and it is amazing because I'm a senior and I don't need a large one. Sorry for the long message but I just realized you bought a deep fryer so you must like fried foods I am originally from Nova Scotia Canada which is on the Atlantic ocean and we love seafood and I recently found an amazing batter recipe that is so easy and perfect every time if you would like it let me know it's simple

@@patriciadavis1393 to be honest.. that fryer is back in the box down in my storage. I had to stop eating fried foods due to high cholesterol and now use my air fryer. I am learning as I go everyday.. I am 52 and have to eat healthier now.. all my bad eating when I was young has gotten me to be a type 2 diabetic so fried foods are not a regular thing for me anymore. I have an oster skillet myself and love it! I am a gadget girl lol

@LazarickHomestead well I am just turned 69 and I know what you mean about bad eating habits but to be honest at this point in the game I eat what I want and whatever happens happens

Yeah I am not a fan of it honestly lol.. Plus after unboxing I had a call from Dr. my cholestrol is high so i have to stay away from the fried foods.. lol

Actually this is funny I keep my boxes for a while because you never know as well I just ordered this from the Walmart app and it wasn't free but it was a good price and I live in Canada and I just unboxed mine yesterday and I washed everything now I'm going to reassemble it and make some amazing battered fish I'm just looking to see if there's any tips for reassembling and blessings from Canada

i cannot for the life of me fry fish... i can do popcorn shrimp but not my own breaded anything. i am a failure at that stuff. I tried over and over again and I just cannot get fried fish to come out good.

Hi Lee.Look into how often you should change the oil and what is the best kind of oil to fry with .The frequency of the oil changes affects the flavor of the foods.
