The reason you get extra parts is either there were duplicate trees being molded or are from past kits. Model kits (mainly gunpla) do this sometimes due to either new molding or using old parts with new parts. That's why some model kits are expensive. Just wanted to throw that fun fact out there

I had a feeling the LED part would not be included, which THANK GOD I purchased a few of the LEDS months before this kit was even announced and such. I bought the LEDS for a Zero kit I have. But man the LEDS take *FOREVER* to be restocked! And when they are they get sold out again!

Really late reply, but I think when they made D-Arts X they were going off of the height in the old SNES games. That was listed as 5'3", but with the Kotobukiya kits, they went with the heights listed under the Command Mission concept art. That height is 5'5" for X, and that looks correct in the D-Arts vs Koto comparison.

This is why I prefer Kotobukiya kits over Bandai at times. Kotobukiya spends the time and effort to color gate plastic pieces to try to make the model kit as color accurate as possible with little to no stickers required. Bandai on the other hand can vary from making a kit that is color accurate right out of the box to making a kit that requires shit load of stickers to color accurate properly because they're being cheapskates and don't want to spend the extra few cents to make color accurate parts.

Totally... being a die hard fan of Megaman X, i might get the chespest one of the line, but it does hurt the whalet a little considering for the same money you can get some bigger and more intricate MG designs like Barbatos, Wing gundam ver.Ka, Nu Gundam Ver.Ka etc

Hi Dstar. This is a long shot, but do you still have the unused L14 & L15 parts from the Max Armor kit? They're earpieces for the normal X. Mine got melted when I accidentally spilled cement.

Is the weight abd build quality close to the darts? I had the old models and overtime they became really loose.

It's hard to say, but in terms of look and scale, this line is much more accurate to X4-5-6 art games than D-Art version, especially the face. Furthermore, you can custom any detail you want and it's a lot more easier than D-Art. If you just want some model kits to display in your room, i highly recommend you this version. I bought X and both 2 versions of Max armor and i feel satisfied more than D-Art
