I've had the same machine for a short time. Works perfectly, but the collet and union nut get extremely hot. After just 2 minutes of idling it reaches the limit of what can be touched. Is that normal?

Great router just don't mount it under a table. The accidental restart safety system on the RP2302/3 make it an ill suited router for a router table. The RP2300/1 routers do not have that problem.

@@t-rex4211 in a way, yes, but the safety system is in the electronics of the RP2302&3. The thumb switch is the same in all the RP230x machines.
