Which is the maximum depth that it can detect?
@TheOffGridFamily2 жыл бұрын
Hey there I honestly can't remember. I haven't used it in a while. When I next get the opportunity to use it I will do some tests for you but it could be a while.

The rubber washers do not go there. That is why you can not control the plate.
@TheOffGridFamily7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I realised that. unfortunately on the instructions it shows them on the outside and I didnt think twice about it after that. Thanks for your comment
@piratedjradio6 жыл бұрын
those two wazhers are supposed to go inside the coil fixing bracket no on the outside

I want a good metal detector that can scan deep and tell the difference between metals. The one I was thinking about 5 years ago was over $1200. So I bought a new AR15 instead. Lol
@TheOffGridFamily7 жыл бұрын
Sean Hirsch this one is surprisingly good considering the price. A few issues im going to have to sort but i will do that in a future video.
@Cyberthuug7 жыл бұрын
The Off Grid Family I'm definitely going to have to get one someday. I've always wanted to go treasure hunting.
@TheOffGridFamily7 жыл бұрын
Sean Hirsch we have gone 3 tines now. We havent found anything of any value but we all had fun. Definitely worth doing, especially with the price of mid range metal detectors being quite low.

How many cm...underground

At least ten cm but depends on the soil density

The reason i checked out your vid was because iam planning on getting that same detector and there seems to be alot of mixed reviews, what do you think of it?
@TheOffGridFamily7 жыл бұрын
There were a few issues with it. one of which is the user manual was in Chinese and the pictures were drawn and not well. Once you get past the setting up stage I have to admit its not a bad detector. We have found loads of bits and bobs. Nothing of any value though. I have also moved the Pin Point button to a more convenient place (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmaaqGiXhZuglck). Overall for the price I'd say definitely buy it. Get used to using it and have some fun. Its really good fun and all the tests I have run have had fairly positive results. Once you decide to step it up a notch use the treasure you find buy a more expensive one and continue to find millions in treasure. So yeah overall the price is great for what you get. I will be doing a video on making a body warn power pack to extend the battery life. Although I have used it 5 times now and I'm still using the original batteries I brought for it.
