Congratulations Corey and a speedy recovery for you. I need to start collecting again as I too need the #2 train and I still want that R12 #1 train I also have an R12 #7. I'd have to go through all of the sets that I have but they're boxed up but I know that I need the #1, 2 & 3 as I have the #4, 5, (I think the #6) & 7. I'm still wanting another R62 set to change the line to the #1. LOVE IT!!

i have the MTH NYC R-12 subway set (silver & blue) ... i use shorty couplers (one per car) ... it makes a huge difference ... and i can still use tight curves without interferance

I need to change some of mine to short couplers. That R-12 set is nice. I want to get one eventually.

@@Coreyt1976 I was going to mention that the distance between the cars is way too wide. MTH should know better. Do the doors slide open and close? Do the end train doors open? Do the trucks have third rail shoes? It's hard to tell from your video. Do the pantograph safety gates on the car ends work? Nice that the conductor has a New Yawk accent.

@@Jeff-uj8xi The doors do not open on this model. The pantographs don’t either. There’s only a few MTH sets that the doors open and it’s manual.

Corey, great video is the train stoping and go by itself to simulate the stations or you doing that. are you runing your trains AC or DC?

Thank you. Yes, the train can be programmed to stop and go where I want it to with the MTH DCS system which is what I use. My transformer is the MTH Z4000 which I believe is AC.
