I've always been confused with this generation thing omg so i'm sticking with the year instead that'd be much clearer! The iPad case is really nice and all but I would definitely recommend and case where the pencil holder is on the top of the iPad and doesn't have any plastic covering the charging area since then it'll be much more efficient for charging and it will also have no wasted space and it can also make sure that your pencil is always charged if the pencil holder is there and you put it back as soon as you finish using it.

It’s good for protection incase you drop it. I have the 1st gen pencil and it helps me write better bc it’s not slippery and helps it stay in place. A “naked” 1st gen pencil rolls a lot. I’m just sharing experience, but I hope it helps you decide :)

Hope Dope Omg HII 👋 that's so cool that we're both from smu!! Ooo psych!!! I got 256 for this ipad simply bc i was afraid it wouldn't be enough to store my textbooks and readings and also my notes since i'll be using my ipad to make notes and study with! It really depends on what you're using your ipad for tho! But i know psych students have a lot of readings to go through and if you're also going to make notes using your ipad, i have a feeling 128 might not suffice in the long run. But if you constantly clear unwanted readings, like if you've finished the mod and no longer need it, then just delete it away to clear space! That should be fine too! 💕✨ Hope this helps!!

When i bought my ipad, the 2020 version wasn't out yet so I could still get the 2018 one! 🥺 You could try Apple's refurbished 2018 version if you want! Thats the only place you can find the 2018 version from Apple if im not wrong! Hope this helps and so sorry!! 😭💕

Lizi Kavelashvili Thank you for asking!! 💕 Tbh I've not used the 1st gen before so I'm in no place to criticize it, but i do like my 2nd gen pencil a lot! Although i must say that I actually don't really enjoy the double tap feature because with a pencil sleeve on, it can sometimes be difficult for the pencil to detect my tapping gesture. So i sometimes just switch tools manually which i feel more comfortable in haha. However, if my 2018 iPad Pro supports the 1st gen pencil, i'd rather get that than the 2nd gen since it's also cheaper! But well since the 2018 iPad Pro is only compatible with the 2nd gen, ive to stick with it! One thing i do like about it is that it charges magnetically, which is much more convenient and i wouldn't accidentally lost the pencil cap if i get the 1st gen instead since i tend to lose my things haha ✨💗 Hope this helps!! 💖

Im a student too and got the portable logitech keyboard bc its much much cheaper than Apple's smartfolio/magic keyboard 🤷🏻‍♀️ All of the accessories (excluding Apple pencil) that I bought for my iPad adds up to only slightly more than $50, which is a much better option for me than getting the smartfolio or magic keyboard that serves almost the same purpose as those that I bought. I know that the magic keyboard has a trackpad now which would be very convenient for me when i use my iPad but i would rather forgo that luxury for something more affordable 😊 It's entirely up to your budget, really. As for which iPad Pro model to get, if im not wrong, the price of both 2020 and 2018 are the same! So definitely get the 2020 one since its the latest! 🙌 Besides, i dont think Apple sells the 2018 model anymore, altho you can still buy the refurbished ones! 👍 I got the 2018 one before the 2020 one was released and tbh its also bc i didn't know that the price would be the same haha if not i would have gotten the 2020 one! But i also don't need such a good camera on my iPad since i always take pictures with my phone so that's fine! 💕 In short and in my opinion, the iPad accessories sold by Apple are just too expensive for me and there are plenty of more affordable options out there! So if you're tight on budget, do consider other brand of iPad accessories such as Logitech, which provides really good iPad case/keyboard and functions just like the smartfolio/magic keyboard! That's if you really want something that looks like Apple's smartfolio keyboard but less expensive and the link to Logitech's version is below! Isabella Menegat I'm not sure why but it should be bc Apple wants to focus on promoting the latest iPad Pro 2020 so just like all the other older iPad Pro models, they stop advertising them🤷🏻‍♀️ You can still get the refurbished 2018 iPad Pro tho! And yup i went to an Apple store before quarantine begin to try out the iPads myself and ask the sales guys some questions I had about the iPads! 😊💕

Hello! How is the screen protector holding up? Does it affect the tip of the pencil? I’m interested in the ones sold in shopee as well ‘coz they’re really inexpensive but I’m having second thoughts about the quality and whether it would wear down the pencil tip. Thank you!

Justine G. Hii!! I've been using this screen protector along with my apple pencil for about 4months now (yea the footages were filmed months ago hahah) and the tip is still in good condition! Tbh its true that the quality is slightly far from Paperlike bc its rougher and can potentially wear down the tip if consistently high pressure is put onto the tip and protector so i would be wary of that when i use my pencil. Also, I realised that this protector affects the screen picture quality too. The screen is less bright and pictures dont look as "HD". Idk if its the same for all matte screen protectors but i think Paperlike has better quality films and it wont compromise the picture quality that much than this cheaper option. But if you're perfectly fine to trade this little inconvenience for a cheaper screen protector than Paperlike, this does the basic matte screen protector job and feels fine to me! I hope this helps!! 💕💗

Well I've not personally tried the 2020 iPad Pro so i'm not sure about it but when I compared the specs, it seems pretty similar other than the difference in chip (2020 iPad Pro's chip is A12Z while 2018 iPad Pro's chip is A12X) and camera, which apparently both 2020 iPad Pro's chip and camera are better than the 2018's. I personally think they are quite similar and i don't think i'll need that good of a camera on an iPad as I mostly take pictures with my phone so I decided to not wait for the 2020 iPad Pro to be released and just go ahead with my 2018 iPad Pro instead 😊💖 Hope this helps! I was initially confused if you'd like me to compare between the iPad 7th Gen and the iPad Pro 2020 hahaha but then i assumed you were referring to the iPad in the video😂 If you had actually wanted me to compare between iPads, let me know and i'll give you my verdict! 💕
