Unboxing My 2025 Hobonichi Techo A6

Well guys, I joined the Hobonichi fam!
I was unofficially indoctrinated into Hobonichi last year when I got the Cousin for Christmas. It was so overwhelming for me and I hadn't discovered this beautiful little community of fellow planner aficionados so I had no idea what I could do with it. I ended up shelving it after a couple of futile attempts 🫠
But since starting this channel and getting inspired by all of the amazing planners out there, I have decided to try the Techo A6 for a daily journal/commonplace journal/creative diary, etc. I find the size much less intimidating and have been enjoying jazzing up my Plum Paper Planners (and amassing lots of decorative tools and stickers and tapes LOL) so let's give it another shot! I am rejoining the Hobonichi world.
Let me know if you have any tips or tricks to maximize the space in a Hobonichi. As we know, I don't love white space in my books 😂 I hope you're having an awesome week and have a great week ahead. Happy planning 🫶🏼

I use a Hobonichi weeks mega as my EDC, a regular weeks as my crochet project tracker, an A6 AVEC as my health and wellness planner, an A5 Cousin as my detail planner for everything not related to health and wellness as well as some memory keeping and an A5 HON in my business pursuits as a researching tool, I am a professional Genealogist. So to recap I use a weeks mega, a regular weeks, an A6 AVEC, an A5 Cousin and an A5 HON, so 5 in total although I am thinking of changing it up in 2026 and combining my A6 AVEC Health and Wellness and my Weeks Crochet Planner/Tracker into a Single A5 Cousin it’s too late for the upcoming year of 2025 as things have already been purchased and setup.

Stick with what works for you. Is Hobonichi really what you need to be successful in 2025? It is a very good expensive planner, but Plum Paper isn’t cheap either. Maybe the structure is what is needed for your Sophomore year of planning.
