These are all housed within the carbon-based composite that makes it lighter & stronger than typical conventional materials while still maintaining it's durability.

I only own a handful of Daiwa's now but i've noticed the Daiwa & Shimanos are almost the same. Lightweight & good warranty & service. Glad to see these sub $100 class of reels.
