Thanks for showing the cars. Not sure if you're still running this track plan but I like it. You might be able to extend the tight loop with a couple of straight sections across from each other.

Thanks for taking the time to review and then post the review on YT. I agree with your review of the Milwaukee boxcar & Conrail tanker. I have both of them cars. The Tide boxcar is a little to orangy loud for my taste. I do not have the Santa Fe Warbonnet in black. I like the looks of it. So I will look into getting one for my roster. That flatcar looks nice as well but I have a Plethora of Lionel, K-Line, & MTH flatcars so a new one would not be feasible for right now. Lucky for me there is a Menards just 3 mi. down the road from where I live Keep up the good work.

I like all the cars. I hear Menards quality is very good and I am sure they cost a lot less than new Lionel. The Menards coupler is a copy of a Lionel postwar coupler which also had no arm to help you uncouple it.

For 20 dollars a car. An a 4 pack of box’s cars for under a hundred no one can beat that. I have their dealers pack for Boston an mane box cars other then a stiff wheel that won’t let up even after putting oil on it i am still pleased with them.

I was wondering if the under carriage of the box cars would be ok if you used wider radius curves or different track brand.

They would probably work better on the wider curves. I’m not sure about if it would make a difference using them on a different track brand since I have only run them on Fastrack.

I just got 2 boxcar one V&O the other is SOO LINE both are from menards. Seem to be very well built cars.They remind me of williams boxcars.

The only drawback I see is un insulated attic train room. Hot in summer cold in winter!

Yes, that is the biggest drawback. Luckily, I have a much bigger layout, the P&MV in a different location.

Nice rolling stock and nice prices. The Conrail tanker color however is way off. That’s not Conrail blue. All around nice trains though🚂
