Hi Cat! I’m currently working on ‘A Mermaid’ from Jaded Gem Shop. It’s an old masters painting by John William Waterhouse and it’s in squares. Yes, the drill field is different but I’m liking the change. The squares are fitting nice and close. I’ll be doing this one on and off for a while. Hope you enjoy yours! Donna. 💜🐶💎🖼️🤗

Thanks for sharing! I never quite know what size to get, and it's helpful to see an actual canvas! I'm doing a JGS canvas now--so much confetti, but I love seeing the colors come alive.

Lovely painting! I live in the US so feel the same way about placing orders from the other side of the planet🤷🏽‍♀️ I paid 70 usd in shipping for a Josephine Wall dp through DPD Germany. $30 for many orders from the UK.. ESPECIALLY if its a small shop. Unfortunately for my bank account, my favorite shop happens to be Diamond Art Studio.😅 So yeah, nobody gets a break! Lol I like your content and your Etsy shop. I am currently working on this kit in the 50x50cm size. (I think I should have gone with the 60x60 that you have...I think it will just come out that *touch* bit clearer instead of so pixellated, but I'm still happy with my purchase.) As far as the drills go, I basically cut apart my colors and put them into piles to kit up. A bit different process than some other shops, but comparing with the number of drills in the kit helped me figure out which size container I needed. I've only finished two 10cmx10cm squares so far, and this kit is almost 100% pure confetti, but I'm loving watching it come to life so far. Jade has a lot of pieces that are overall "softer" in imaging than many other shops with hard black outlines for many figures and such. I enjoy the huge range that she offers in her shop, as well as choosing what size and whether you want a crop of the image or not. I have a few of her pieces in my stash, including another Kat Fedora, and the big one I'm wanting to do for my winter project is "A Mermaid's Bath." This is the first shop I purchased which renders in more of a "photo negative" effect, but it is really making it an enjoyable process for me to do. The symbols are crystal clear, and it's almost like working on a mystery painting until the drills are down. So far the quality of the drills and the canvas field has been perfect for me. I hope you have the same enjoyable process with working on this that I am at the moment! 🥰💜❤

I'm pretty excited to get the 2 kits I purchase, everything I've hear about Jaded Gem Show is really good. But it certanly is for a treat.

They both use the same supplier that’s why it looked similar to you. The drills can also be mixed in between the two bags. The kits are super confetti heavy. I would like to see some hand rendering. The finishes of both of them will look very different munimade is on par with DAC imo. Jgs finish look is more like diymoonshop

I am in Canada and hesitant to order from small shops like Jaded Gemshop because of the high shipping costs and custom costs. It will need to be a diamond painting that really calls to me. I hope to be able to try them out eventually. Hope you enjoy your diamond painting! 😀
