Unboxing my new DW Collector's Series Drum kit. Just drove to the factory today!
The shells are Maple Mahogany and equipped with Black Nickel Hardware.

Congrats on your new kit! I’ve been wondering between maple and maple/mahogany for a kit, what input can you give me ? Is there so much of a difference ?

You really can't go wrong with either or bro! I just fell in love with the subtle warmth of the the mahogany. Make no mistake though, they're punchy and have a great low end capability

I do not officially endorse DW. I’d love to one day. The quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail on all of their products is second to none( in my opinion). There are a lot of amazing drums out there so my “cup of tea” may Not be everyone else’s “cup” and that’s okay.
