5G means fifth generation of tamagotchi. In this case, fifth generation means your tamagotchi has gone through four cycles of living (baby-adult, then marrying then leaving the baby then repeating three more times)

Why don’t you run the rest of your tamas if you have spare batteries?

I usually only run 1-3 at a time, and just rotate between them. Depending on whichever one I feel like doing at that time. And I keep spare batteries just in case I have a Tama urge and want to run one when I don't have any going. 😁🩵

Do your dollar store batteries last? I’ve found that the ones I’ve bought only last for a week or less. But batteries can get really pricey, so if they’re better now, I might hit them up!

Honestly I don't think I've ever ran one that long to find out. I usually run a tama through one life cycle then pull the batteries and switch to a different tama. I keep a bunch of dollar store batteries on hand that I pull from. Maybe I'll have to test one from beginning to end to see. 😊

Hi there! The target age is young girls, maybe around 8-12 or so. But there is a large adult community who played them as kids in the 90’s/2000’s who play them now and collect the different types released over the years. I fall into that group. But honestly I think they can be for anyone. I hope this helps! 😊

Fun fact: if your cream v2 (the one that had Sally as the name) was a boy, Katie can marry (name you’d pick if it was a boy) when they’re both adults for at least 24 hours

@@leannelandps. There’s two requirements you must meet before marrying by connecting two tamas: 1. Both tamas need to be adults for at least 24 hours before marrying 2. One tama needs to be a boy and one needs to be a girl. If you connect a boy with a boy or vice versa (girl with a girl), nothing will happen. Good luck on marrying Ps. If you have a version 3, 4 or 4.5, this also works, you just need to select ‘others’ for it to work, or v2, select v1. If you select v2 on v2, v3 on v3, v4 on v4 and another tama (v1-v4.5) on others, they won’t connect

How many days can a gen 2 live?

I think you can get up in the high 20's in age if you've raised a good care Tama. I usually average around 20 days. 😊

@@leanneland it will actually live up to around 15 days without marriage on the connection v1-v3. However, on the v4 & v4.5, without marriage, they can live until they eventually die, or, if they get married, past 15 days, until they leave their baby.

I’m the same. I haven’t played with them since 2017 and I sometimes think of them. I still have them but I think it over for a week to see if I really want to start them up. I say this because if I really have the urge to play with them or I’ll get bored after thinking of them within a few days
