Victrix are, these days, producing some superb models. I have just completed painting these lancers myself. I found that (as I did not assemble each figure in its entirety) I had to clearly label each figure so that when I later came to mount a rider on a horse, add an arm, lance etc I had the correct piece cut from the sprue ready to glue on. They have painted up beautifully. When I was 18, I purchased Minifig 25mm Polish Lancers, which I still have, they were the pride of my French army. The world of plastic models has come on hugely since those days, thanks to companies such as Victrix, Perry Miniatures et al.
