Hey. I haven’t reviewed machines in a minute. I have used the q421A and it’s a really nice, smooth machine. But I don’t have the details. If I were looking to buy for under £200, this would be an option. Look for good after sales care. Some sellers are terrible and charge so much. And don’t forget. You have two weeks to change your mind if you buy online. Yes - even if you open it and try it out. Just pack it up ready to sell again. Sellers MUST refund 100% (unless you cause damage and they have to prove you did the damage not sell them a damaged machine) not just offer an exchange and if they don’t then you can threaten them with a small court claim. According to GOV.UK, online retailers must offer refunds to customers who change their mind within 14 days of receiving their goods: Cancellation: Customers must notify the retailer within 14 days of receiving the goods. Return: Customers have another 14 days to return the goods after notifying the retailer. Refund: The retailer must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Here are some tips for changing your mind about an online purchase: Cooling-off period Use the 14-day cooling-off period to let the seller know you don't want the item. You can use a template letter to keep a copy of your communication. Follow up If you phone the seller, make sure to note who you spoke to and what was agreed. You can follow up with a letter or email.

I am just learning to sew. Didn’t know anything about sewing machines when I went for this K132A and have been wondering why no one ever reviewed this machine. It is indeed a good machine for beginners. Thanks for reviewing it Abi. I would try getting a case sewn for it.

After seeing this video, I bought today, a Necchi NC-204D. Looks like top of the line and can do everything but make coffee-and it’s purple! Thank you, Abi, I didn’t even know we could buy this brand in the US.

Would this be a good little spare, for sewing cuffs etc? Also do you know the stitch speed please?

I wouldn’t just have this as a spare. I’ve taken this model with me away on long leave and made all sorts of garments - including heavy denim weight trousers. Brilliant machine.

Great video Abi , don't know if we can buy Necchi machines here in Sweden, I haven't seen them here looks like a good buy, I've seen that Lidl have a Singer once in a while for sale, keep doing these kind of vlogs they are very informative 👍👍👍👍
