Older people often have weaker hands, so having to squeeze the bottle from both sides is probably a deal-breaker for some of us. I saw another video where they pushed a button to release the water reservoir. Does that button exist, or is squeezing the bottle the only option?

I just picked one up used and noticed that in the bottle was a small rubber piece that seemed to have fallen off of something. It has a lip on one end and came to a flattened widened point on the other end. Does this go inside the cap or someplace on this unit? It's about 3/8" +/- in length.
