For this video I am going to be unboxing some of the amazing 4K, Blu-ray and DVD gifts that I recently received from my good friend David Punton. The package actually contained a 4K trilogy edition I never thought I would ever own. A huge thank you once again David for sending me this truly amazing gift.

Glad everything arrived well.👌 Ok, so any Terminator duplicates (it’s about bloody time I sent something you already have lolol) just pay it forward & that goes for any repeat items I may send in future. 👍 Chuck Steel is something I took a gamble on as it looked like I’d enjoy it, it’s Team America mixed with Chicken Run style animation with an 80’s action story on steroids! It really is a daft good time & hope you get a few laughs out of it. 🤣 Frankenstein’s Army is actually not a German production as far as I know, but it’s a 1944 WWII found footage about Natzi experimentation to make the ultimate army. Great practical effects & gore in that one. I really hope you enjoyed The Godfather 4K’s & I’m sure you’ll cherish this edition as with your whole collection! Keep up the great content my friend!!👏👏👍

Hey David. Andy who I do my streams with mentions how much I will enjoy chuck Steel. It sound highly entertaining and hopefully I will watch it sometime this week. I don't know why but I had it in my head that Frankenstein's army was a German movie. So a huge thank you for the correction. I never realised it was a found footage movie but the Way You Are describing it sounds right up my street. As for the Godfather I am still speechless. When I first glanced at it I instantly thought it was another Blu-ray release. That's why I took my time in the video because I needed to look through it and when I realised it was the 4K I couldn't believe my eyes. So a huge thank you once again David. You once again managed to surprise me and I'm sure a lot of people will be surprised watching it. Your generosity goes beyond anything I've ever witnessed

Hi Keith - Chuck Steel takes me back. We saw it first as a short film at Frightfest back in 2013 as Chuck Steel: Raging Balls of Steel Justice. They even gave us a vacuformed mask, which I still have somewhere. The feature film version; Night of the Trampires also screened at Frightfest many years later (2018 I think). So it’s good to finally see it arrive on disc. I have also that very same Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the steel plate. And guess what? My postcard envelope is still sealed too!

Some incredible gifts from David Punton, Keith. I love the Texas Chainsaw edition. The Crow looks spectacular,it's such a great film as well. You will have to let us know if Frankenstein's Army is any good, I've never heard of that one. What can you say about the God Father edition, it looks amazing. I love the pictures of the cast. Fantastic artwork. I watched the God Father trilogy about a year ago, I enjoyed them but Goodfellas and Casino are my all time gangster flicks.

Yeah I have to admit I feel the exact same way when it comes to gangster movies. I will always put casino and Goodfellas ahead of The Godfather. Of course not taking anything away from The Godfather and the thought of being able to watch that trilogy in 4K might even elevate them to a higher appreciation. I will know very soon. Again, what an amazing gifts. I actually do own the French release of this set of The Godfather. I've bought the French release, simply because it was the cheapest. I don't care if the title isn't in English, as English isn't my first language anyway. Besides, I thinks it even makes the edition even more unique when the title is in another language than English. I've even got Russian releases of Doctor Strange, a double pack of Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Wrath of the Planet of the Apes, and some movie of which I can't even remember the English title.

I have the bluray steelbook of that terminator blue tint version, maybe that is what you have aswell (uk zav steelbook. What an amazing gift of the godfather trilogy, those are a required watch Keith in the crime genre along with the likes of scarface, casino, heat ect I got the steelbooks myself but I think it was the 75 quid amaray edition people had the issue with surely? That collectors set is beautiful.

Yeah I think people were complaining about the actual box set itself. Me personally I don't see it and I don't think I'll ever change my mind on it. I have to give credit when credit due because the Steelbooks do look quite amazing. It's great have those options out there. As for the Terminator Steelbook it's definitely not a Zavvi exclusive. It's part of the definitive edition range. I don't think that was exclusive to zavvi. It's going back a while

Hey Keith, David is definitely the man I can’t speak to a lot of those additions, but I do have the godfather box set. The transfers are amazing. I’ve seen the godfather countless times and I’ve never seen it like this great shadow detail, wonderful, natural color for instants the opening scene when the godfather is meeting in his office, he is wearing a tuxedo, the trim on the lapel of the jacket is satin and you can clearly see the differences in the black where like I said I’ve seen the movie countless times and never saw that before. I’m sure a great combination of 4K and OLED but it looks so good. The sound has greatly been through the prior Blu-ray box set and many problems I think mainly due to the original source but they’ve definitely cleaned it up and made it much better. Music is now a highlight and much more enjoyable. The packaging definitely looks nice but beware the material definitely shows handling marks and dirt and really seems to degrade rather quickly. I haven’t handled mine much at all, but it already shows quite a bit of wear and dirt and unfortunately the material they used I’m afraid to even try to clean it as I think I would make it worse so be careful when handling. have a great one is always stay safe.👍

I've heard so many great things when it comes to the 4K transfers on all three of them. To be able to actually watch them on my new setup I know I'm in for a treat. Still can't believe somebody would actually gift me such a fantastic release. I knew there was something stopping me from buying them all this time. As for the packaging yes it reminds me of my suspiria edition that I have and that's really starting to show some ware on it even though it never gets moved or touched. I will try my best to look after it but there's only so much you can do. All I can do is Hope nothing will happen to it overtime. It would be a shame if something happens seeming this was given to me as a gift. But thank you so much John for stopping by and giving me a heads up on the release itself and the transfers. One question by the way, do you have any idea about what the hell is going on with the latest editions of filmarena ? you know, Halloween Kills, The bourne identity, godzilla vs kong, etc, i mean all of them are extremely delayed from long ago, it will be a year since almost since i bought halloween kills, i don´t have any update from them, they don´t answer emails, always the same with them (the same happened to me with their release of predator), those guys are so annoying.. plus their customer service is so terrible ! i don´t know, maybe you know something or you have any update. I hate actually having to say this to you but I heard a rumour that filmarena are no longer in business. If I were you I would start sending threatening and legal messages to them saying that you want your money refunded. Honestly I never pre-order anything from them because I was made aware quite early that they are very hard to get hold of. It's an absolutely horrible way to run a business. I really do hope you get this sorted and hopefully very soon because if there is any truth behind that rumour god knows what will happen to your money. It's so incredibly frustrating because that Halloween kills in particular is something I would love to have in my collection. If I hear anything else I will definitely get back to you

@juanducasse great to hear that they at least got back to you. You know yourself if you hear nothing come the end of June I would seriously consider cancelling your order. It's ridiculous how long it's taken them

@@millerman9991 100% agree with you. It´s a shame that they have so amazing movie editions behind a horrible company. If i get any update i will let you know !
