Great Review! We will def be getting the Pj's and Sleeping Bag. I love that you commented about the decal on the PJ's, I don't recall a problem with the Care Bears version (don't have that one) I will wait to see others experience with it before we order - if we can stand to wait that long, lol. I'd like to see more 80's for Courtney, but they should span out from Pj's and Sleeping Bags! Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, Cabbage Patch Kids and so many other things they could do with more variations than Pj's and Sleeping Bags.

I don’t think it’s a big issue, just something to be aware of. I treat my doll’s clothes well, so I purchased an outfit new, I probably won’t need to wash it. But if your dolls’ clothes tend to get dirty and you wash them, I would be careful and maybe wash them by hand.

In the 1980’s there were tee shirt pajamas. The children wore them as well. I was young, then. So, I was super on top of the trends, working with the kids on the orthopedic floor.

@@rainbowunicorncat1 I don’t think children Courtney’s age wore footed pajamas, as only babies wore those. A Strawberry Shortcake decal would have been affixed to a tee shirt type cotton pajamas.

I was an 80s baby, so I love these sets & had to order them as soon as I could. I have the Care Bear sets too. I think I like the Strawberry Shortcake sleeping bag best & the Care Bear nightgown better than the new pajamas. Lime Chiffon & Apricot are my favorite characters besides Strawberry herself. Huckleberry Pie isn't her brother. ;) I am hoping AG will get licensing for Pound Puppies, Cabbage Patch, & most of all, My Little Pony. Not just for slumber sets though.

I know people are irritated with no Orange Blossom or even Blueberry Muffin, but my guess is that it's a licensing issue as well as just the design that was given to them. For even more characters, I imagine it would be more costly to get the licensing rights for them. Besides, the illustration on the sleeping bag is cute as is so I personally don't care if they don't have any specific characters missing from it. Thank you for the review! I can't wait to get the PJS!! Still unsure if I want the sleeping bag. I wish that the backside of the sleeping bag wasn't blank, so it's getting me a little unsure if I want it as I don't have much of a need or use of the sleeping bag in the first place. The overall designs are cute though and cohesive with the matching lines and color work. I agree that embroidery for the PJs would be better which is a shame.

I do like the picture they ended up with, just was wondering why it didn’t include an important character. It is possible AG just agreed to what was offered, or even picked a less costly option, you are right . If the backside of the sleeping bag had a print as well, it would have looked better as a blanket when completely unzipped. They absolutely should have done it!

FYI - There is no way that these PJs would have been embroidered in the 80's. They would have cost a fortune if that was anything but that iron-on type of decal. Great review! Thanks for sharing!

I think they need to make My Little Pony pjs with all the My Little Ponies on them for Isabella Hofmann and they could even be in pink and then for her twin sister Nikki maybe a My Little Pony set of overalls with Rainbow dash and Applejack on them and they could include a cute little pony plushie
