Great video. Thanks for reporting all of the new AG items coming out. I purchased Ariel and Tiana items. Rapunzel and the frozen dolls are a little to girly for my collection. I can't wait until the Christmas release and the New girl of the year. Have a good Sunday!

I also bought playline Rapunzel. I wasn't really planning on buying any of the Disney dolls but she was too pretty to pass up, and since she's a favorite of mine, I decided to get her. I love her even if she isn't as fancy as the LE doll. I didn't buy the accessories since they seem kinda pricey but maybe I'll buy them with rewards, or else just look for non-AG accessories.

Thank you for another Great video! My Rapunzel arrived the other day but I haven’t unboxed her yet. I too bought the sets for the same reason, the crown & Pascal even though they are overpriced. I’m so glad that you did the comparison to the collectors edition. I collect a variety of dolls (not just AG) so I passed on the CE last year & honestly regretted it. I think they did a great job overall and I can’t wait to see what is coming out next. Also, I think they should make the princesses in the mini size so our dolls can have their favorite too! 🍃🌸🩷🌸🍃

Rapunzel does have a wedding dress but maybe they thought making a wedding dress would be problematic because people might think that are promoting child marriage. A lot of collectors feel that these dolls are cosplayung children rather than the actual princesses

@@blakegriplingph Disney Store was selling child sized wedding outfits for many of their princesses, including Rapunzel. A lot of little girl have their weddings planned, it’s not about actual child marriage.

I think she is different enough on her own, and her wig is so unique. Do you have a local AG store? Sometimes seeing a doll IRL makes it easier to make a decision.

I feel like AG shorted the playline Rapunzel in order to produce a hair set. The other 3 playline dolls got hairstyles, Cinderella got earrings, a choker and gloves. Tiana got a Crown and a necklace and gloves. Ariel only got a hair clip and a necklace but she has a more intricate dress with the mermaid skirt. I just feel that Rapunzel should have come with the crown and the plastic flowers in her hair.

The LE doll dress is more like the dress in the movie . The dress in the movie has the purple lacing on the bodice and the sheer sleeves . I didn’t get the LE doll and was kind of regretting it , but once the play edition came out I stopped regretting it . I prefer the play edition so I can mess with her hair . I got Elsa and Ana but I actually might have waited on them. I have LE Belle, I think I would have gotten her anyway , however I am super happy for a play edition Belle. I probably won’t get the play edition Belle, but would get any extra outfits they make .

I wish they had made it, it's so pretty. I don't know if it was really a wedding dress, we never actually see her getting married like we did with some of the other princesses, we just know that Flynn proposed. I always just assumed it was a new dress her parents gave her once they found her. 😄

Well you could have missed it but I usually see it at the very tail end of her movie and then you see the full clip of it at the beginning of her TV series so yes, it is her wedding dress.

Little girl's love Disney princess and Alot of parents can't afford the LE collector dolls so the play line is perfect because girls can play with their princess dolls and take her out of the box. I hope that they have play line Anna and Elsa very soon cause I want LE Anna and Elsa but I don't have the Money for both. Just one

This will be my next purchase after my reward from Anna comes in. I have the collector Rapunzel, but I actually prefer this one because of the emphasis on gold in her dress. When I think of Rapunzel, gold is one of the colors I think of. I feel like the lack of makeup on this one makes her look more innocent and open somehow, like she's actually discovering the world :) And her hair is to die for - although, not to be dramatic, but AG's inclusion of a brush with plastic bristles is borderline unethical imo. Little girls are going to force that to "work" and tear their doll's hair up because they don't know any better :(

Yes, that hairbrush is a disaster. They should’ve have made a real hairbrush that is special to Rapunzel, but still good for kanekalon hair.

She's cute and the accessories are fun but they do seem overpriced. She does actually wear one other outfit at the very end of the movie, but maybe AG didn't get a chance to do in-depth research, I feel like they rushed Play-line Rapunzel so maybe that's why. I do like the doll alot and want to get her but I probably won't get her til later, I'm holding out for Merida and Belle! 🤞

The tiara part one is made of plastic100% the other one its limited edition have real cristals even the dress are 100 swarovsky cristals i have that doll and i think the commparison its unfair

I am not sure what you are trying to say. The LE doll clearly had higher quality outfit overalls hence the price, it would have been silly if we didn’t get higher quality and better materials for almost twice the price. But tiara was in a separate set and that set didn’t have much in it for $40. It should have cost less IMO.
