After so long I finally got my graphgear 500 I used to use pencils but I e used pencils to draw for so long that I needed to move on so here I’m at reading your comments and congrats to everyone

I love that they changed the eraser cap and added a lead grade indicator, here i have the 0.3 but with the classic metal cap with no indicator... nice detail

They didn't change it, the one in the video is a Japanese domestic product, while the one you and I have is the international model with the stamp metal button and the shiny grip. I personally prefer the JDM version.. The cap with the lead indicator actually has a different and better balance in your hand imo than the tin button I have a Graphgear 600 with that style of button with the lead indicator and the lead diameter printed on the top, and I think it's a more premium product than the international version of the Graphgear 500

It is nothing. it's only shade symbol. when you use HP lead then you can set it as HP when you use 2B lead then you can set it as 2B like this. It's have no any other function...

Yes it's region based, the one with the stamp metal button is the international version sold in America and I think in Europe too? (Not too sure) The one in the video is sold in Japan
