How would you compare these to 8" pleasers? I'm thinking of getting 9" boots but seeing the warning on them kinda scares me, if I'm perfectly fine in 8" would I be okay in these?

I am very comfortable in 8 inch. These are not that different, just slightly heavier if anything. You know that's expected though... I recommend trying them out. You can always return if unhappy
