We are finishing up 1st grade math with confidence and KMWC right now. They work well for us. We also like evan moor workbooks.

We have to do standardised tests now and I’ve not thought of using books for them!!! I love building in flexibility!!! Never seen vorab lit!!! Sorry I can’t spell!!! I bought a classical vocabulary book for my older kids!!! It’s a high school level!!! My older kids focus on other parts of language arts but they don’t do grammar as it’s in reading and writing!!! I don’t do pre k as well and I teach letter sounds thru exposure from a baby and let it happen naturally!!! My kids haven’t been advanced with letter sounds tho!!!

I can't spell either! LOL. Yeah my kids are fast to learn with letter sounds and reading either, but that is okay. Their brains are not meant to handle it at such a young age. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

My daughter loves how MWC is rainbow at the end. We are only on lesson 11, but she keeps flipping to the back 🤣
