Hi, I think you just have to go for the later series. Yes, unfortunately there are a lot of changes in their new updates. Kinda have to adjust with it big time. :) But i'm not that high maintenanced so the "deadboots" are just fine for me.

While in redmi you can do everything (you can make your phone look like an iphone, samsung, redmi and all) hehe really easy to customized based on your great preferences. Hehe
