I started with Ryobi and then DeWalt and then I got the small Kapex - which was the only one to match the precision I needed. For the money spent I could’ve just bought the bigger Kapex from the start. In fact I now bought the bigger one, because it is simply unmatched in fine carpentry and quality products. My view of Festool: it’s like buying a Rolls Royce - people will say it gets you from A to B the same as any other car, BUT the experience is what makes it special. That is my feeling with all my Festool machines and hardware - it is an absolute joy to do anything from the most basic to the most complex tasks. I whip out my Domino to join few piece of pine for temporary stand because it just feels awesome to use. I ordered the 120 today, can't wait to use it, I do a lot of stairs so I thought it would come in handy, as you stated it will save me time. And it's quality.

1500$ American Dollars. It is worth it and will pay for itself with the first cut, depending on how one bills out his tools.

Worth every penny !! I have 3 of them . You don't expect any tool to pay for itself with the first cut . It will last you many years and make you plenty of money . 💰

Amen man. I started with a sander then all the sudden it was a router, DF700, all the dominos for it, Seneca adapter plate, but now also looking at the DF500 and kapex yet I have a perfectly good makita. Lol it’s a green drug! Ha!

This is what I hate, people who think they know a tool after playing with it for a hour. Who never works with the tools muchless do woodworking for a living. I have this saw and have been working with it for 11-1/2 years as a Professional Carpenter / Cabinet Builder. If anyone should review this saw it should be me or someone with years experience using it, not this guy. These people review on KZbin to make money and have NO Experience in what they review . It is a great tool, it cuts like any other miter saw . Of course Festool is getting carried away with pricing, But I wouldn't pay $1575.00. Makita makes some fine machinery at half the cost. If your wanting a miter saw for a shop permanent tool, maybe buy it. But don't haul it around on job sites. Plus this tool has been reviewed a bunch of times, by everybody, its all over KZbin.

I have to really disagree with you here. I’m a 6 year owner and this saw is a massive standout as a portable saw, it’s light and with the wings it brings huge functionality not available from any other brand.

So basically your saying he shouldn't of reviewed the kapex before asking you if he's qualified enough, so now your a youtube policing officer qualified to police the Internet.
