Yeah. Timing, price and the way they were rolled out just made it hard to justify. Glad to have them, but it still hurt like hell that’s for sure. The AT-RT will look incredible though! Interesting to see that set cheaper too.

Another awesome review ✊ If space wasn't an issue (and dollars lol) I'd love to get these to go with my Clone Wars collection but unfortunately with the Ahsoka show no doubt getting a bunch of releases as well as my current pre orders, it's going to have to be a pass. Superb posing on the clones. I'll definitely be "borrowing" a few poses😏 Keep up the great work!

I fear the wave that could possibly come from Ahsoka, but I’m somewhat safe since it’s not too many figures I’d pick up from that line. I have the appo version, the speeder by itself is alright but it is not impressive, however, when you have a clone on it, it looks fantastic, i decided to put captain rex on the speeder. Great video as always.

I have to agree! I tussled with the idea of having it appear destroyed, but I don’t like the idea of the Speeder leaning on any of the smaller pieces. That way it could be used as cover during a fight scene or something. But like you said, it definitely comes to life with a figure on it. Rex would look awesome! Appreciate you for watching. 🙏🏼

I wanted to ask you if the pole that holds the BARC Speeder to the base can't be folded backwards (like the flying poles that come with many figures) so that the height of the vehicle with respect to the ground would be lower (which is how it should be according to has shown in Clone Wars). At that height, the holding pole is not realistic enough to be mounted on the vehicle. Furthermore, the BARC Speeders moved quite close to the ground. Thank you very much and good review!

Hey! Great question. I did this exact thing and unfortunately it rises slowly over time. Not only that, but it’s also extremely difficult to bend. My guess is they manufactured it that way to hold up the BARC Speeder over an extended period of time. I almost covered it in the review, but I didn’t think enough people would know about the on-screen accuracy enough to care. 😅 Hope this helps, and thanks for watching! 🙏🏼🍻

Thank you so much! I know that you believe in the importance of the accuracy of what is seen on the screen and then reproduced in the collectible, so that is why I imagined that you would have tried it. For me it is a problem that it is so high, because I think it is unrealistic in that way, so if it cannot be folded, I have thought about cutting the stick, removing the plug that fits the BARC Speeder, and then putting it back together in the stick, so it would be lower and closer to the ground. I mentioned not picking up anymore 501st clones, but they would have to knock Echo & Fives out of the park for me to commit. I’d love the 212th at some point, because Obi-Wan’s a one man army right now with Cody. 😭

Think this set would have been more successful if it was both APPO and heavy trooper with Barc and side car for $799 Helps collectors, but also lines HT pockets if people want multiple copies.

I love how, despite how expensive these things are, Hot Toys is consistently getting things wrong on most of their clone troopers. - The ARC Jesse is missing blue stripes on his hand armor. - The Rex has extra thin blue lines running parallel to the main blue stripes on the arms, which shouldn't be there. - The 501st heavy has the incorrect Cody chin design and is missing one of the straps for his extra chest armor piece. - The Appo has a kama despite never being seen with one while having regular 501st markings in any piece of Star Wars media. - All of the clones are missing the little = mark on the right brest plate. And a number of other little inaccuracies here and there on the various clone figures. It's honestly ridiculous how much they get wrong for the price you're paying.

@poky3933 Yeah, the 501st are supposed to be a medium blue color, but Hot Toys, much like EA's Battlefront 2, made them an inaccurate dark blue color instead of the correct shade of blue.

These BARC speeders arent for me, especially because the character selection isnt actually from clone wars. I bet they are recycling old Battlefront 2 prototypes here. Will get the ARF trooper for sure when it hopefully releases soon though.

They aren’t really for me either. This is the second time I had to commit to a bigger release because of a figure not being separate. The first was Robed Boba, but this really took the cake. 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Appo appears int he Clone Wars in the siege of Umbarra. He is also the clone commander that confronts Senator Organa on the Jedi Temple landing platform, during Order 66.

@@daniel_sc1024 I know, but Appo had an arrow on his helmet and in ROTS non of that extra armor. Also BARC speeders were mostly red in the Clone Wars and in ROTS as well
