I agree this is a pretty good 5 pack, but not excellent. Speaking as a Brit, I don't think it represents British roads that well, though. I love the Morris Minor in this pack, it's old but even in the 80s they were pretty common on the roads. I don't live in London, so I can't speak for the colour of the taxi, but where I am, there are no London taxis like that, or the older diesel version; mostly they are black, but I've not been in London for years so maybe that's changed. My main complaint with this set is the Mini - I hate the BMW Minis, especially convertibles. I recognise they are good cars, I just really dislike the aesthetic, and I really don't appreciate the fact they are so big - Minis are not mini any more! The old Issigonis-designed Minis from the '60s to '90s were proper tiny do-eveything people's cars, but the BMW Minis are simply cartoonish hatchbacks. I like the Land Rover as a car, but I feel the Matchbox version is lacking in detail, especially like you said with the roof. I have a Majorette one which has a second piece of white plastic as a roof, but just leaving it clear looks terrible; even a tampo/printing of some kind on the roof would improve it in my opinion. My favourite is the Jaguar, though the interior is indeed odd. I always used to be lukewarm about this car until one passed me as I was cycling - it's one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard. I heard it coming from behind and thought "ooh, wow, what's this!?". Since then it's become one of my favourite modern cars. My overall impression with this set is is not really 'for British people', but it's kind of like the tourist version of Britain - I'm surprised there's not a red bus plastered with Union Jacks in there. I wonder if you feel the German sets represent the cars on German roads accurately, because this one... it's a bit 'theme park'-ish.

I definitely agree with you - in several of your points... The " German Autobahn"-Sets also don't really represent Germany. I understand your complaints about Mini... For me it's the same with the Fiat 500... And yes: The sound of the Jag is fantastic
