Thank you for the review Henrik. It looks perfect for me but i admit i would have preferred if the 2 inserts for each side were permanently fitted rather than "plugged" in. Are the compartments secure enough one plugged in or do they tend to move a bit? I'd welcome your view 👍

Thanks! No, I would say that they sit well in place. There is no possibility for them to come off and with clothes in them they are stable 🙂

how sturdy is the frame/body? I tent to pick extended layovers on the return flights from my main trips traveling abroad so I can do quick exploring around different countries so I check in my carry-on luggage on my return flights. I have a monos hybrid and its great but it's 3 lbs heavier than the Essens 55, I can't pack as much due to how heavy it is so I'm looking for an alternative that is close to as strong so my things/souvenirs inside won't get possibly crushed.

It´s quite sturdy, it will not get squeezed.. And if you pack it with clothes there will be no problem

Hello, thank you so much for sharing the review. May I ask you how much it can really take? So can a pair of shoes (classic shoes), 2 shirts and 2 trousers be packed?. I have been thinking between this carry on as a gift for my fiancé, however I am worried it won’t take much stuff, compared to SAMSONITE base boot 55 CM. Thank you again 😊

The quick answer is yes! I used it on a business trip for 5 days and also had safety shoes in it.

Great video! Are the wheels easy to take off or are there screws holding them? I saw it in the video and I’m afraid those wheels will fall off if it’s easy to remove.

Thanks! No screws to hold the wheels. But a really good design with a spring loaded pin on the inside. They will not fall off. The risk with this type of wheels are that they can break off in the rotatable shaft if the bag is thrown with other bags, like in the airport.

The handle works fine, never had any issue with it. The only carpet i have tryed it on is the one i have at home, and no problem there. What type of carpet do think about?

Hello! I use it 1-2 times a month and have done since i bought it. I still like it a lot! I haven't had any problems with it and it hasn't worn out from all the use. It looks a bit boring if you use it without the bags in, then it´s just a shell, but still does the job :)

⁠@@imtltthe plastic is a little bit softer then these type of cases usually is. If you use it as a check in luggage you will get some scratches, but that happens to all cases. For a long weekend trip it fits all i need, for you i dont know 😅

What about hardness of case? I read in reviews that after 1st trip someone's was damaged. I have Samsonite old design which I've had for a very long time which is very HARD. 😊 Only reason I'm replacing is because of my bad back, I need 4 wheels. I'm going to return Essence as I don't want it denting!!

I only use it as a cabin bag.. But the case is not that thick, maybe 2-3mm in a medium/soft material(plastic).. Don’t know if the bigger ones are thicker.

that's almost perfect luggage from Samsonite the only thing I don't like is its steel handle bar too wobbly at just like u said feels not premium on that side
