Love the finish! Gary Hoey showed me those Fluence pickups a few years back at NAMM and they always impress me with their tone. How are you liking them so far?

Oh my Friend, I really dig the guitar. Soo even though I'm not much of a fan of the natural finished necks this one is somewhat different to the ones I'd tried so far. Regarding the pickup it still feels a bit strange for me, BUT if I put it in a mix it sounds absolutely amazing and veeery versatile. It's just not what I'm used to, to "fast" has something in the attack/high ends which makes it sit in any mix & musical environment pretty good but feels weird for me if You know what I mean...

Oh boy, that wah I love to death. It's a Dunlop JimiHendrix wahwah, the one that has the chrome edges - I believe it's called JH-1B

Your playing is amazing! What's your thoughts about the Schecter Sunset Strip bridge pickup on the E-1 custom model? I got that guitar but Im not feeling the pickups...Any recommendation?

Thank You my Friend! Regarding the Schecter PU-s, is that the one that's the stock on the customs? If so, I dug em! It's not as "metal" as other puz, more rock sounding, and the single coil position has been my absolute fav such humbucker/single coil sounding PU. Only problem with that that it was feedbacking a bit on stage, other than that it's very cool pickups. I've been using EMG Retro Actives the Hot70 set, and that I could recommend a lot - or the James Hetfield set was one that I reeeally loved, too.

I can't say from experience exactly, but I did buy a Schecter sls elite 4 string bass last year. Both Schecters are built with swamp ash, so the feel should be similar. Because they are part of the slim line series, the neck should be a bit more slender and fretboard easier to navigate. The tone options are quite robust before even messing with amp settings you can get a very wide variety tones. So in summary, it plays like a dream and I would be surprised if you couldn't get your desired tone out of it.
