Anyone know if the 8bitDo retro usb adapters work on these? I know that both the switch version and the PSclassic versions of the adapters work interchangeably with one another on those 2 systems (especially now that they've received updates to effectively make them the same product). I would love wireless controllers from the get go!

Great video. I love the Genesis Mini even I had only the nostalgia on the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) and not on the Genesis. I’m impressed of Sega making this wonderful mini console than Sony with the PlayStation Classic.

I can faintly remember some of the games because I played some at a primary school classmate's home. He always tried to convince me that Sega is better than Nintendo. Actually that thing looks really good and has a lot of little details as well. Getting 40 games makes it really worth the price for fans. It would have been really cool if there was a dummy cartridge you can put into that slot.

I followed an online tutorial to hack mine so it has more roms (I have a load of roms I played as a child from my dads coworker who loved to bootleg stuff - I loved Soleil and all the Road Rash games but 3 was my fave so I was excited to add it after the hack lol)

Yes! However, if your tv has a usb, you can plug it up there. My's comes with the ac adapter cause i'm from the United States of America. Also, You need six button arcade pads for two fighting games.

Modern TVs apply filters to enhance the image quality. While it works well for movies or tv shows, it looks crap with old video games. There should be a mode called "Computer" or "Video Games" in the settings of your tv, activate it and the graphics will look better.

I imported the Japanese Mega Drive and those 6-button controllers are tiny. I actually prefer the 3-button versions. Still think the Japanese console is the best looking console with its larger gold 16-BIT text and red accents. The UK /European version looks a little plain in comparison. However I still pre-ordered European Mega Drive.

I regret buying the Mega Drive mini. The games are very very difficult. Even Street Fighter 2 is very difficult....can't get past the first fighter because the moves I have been given are limited. I don't remember the games on the original Sega Mega Drive being this hard. My Mega Drive mini is just gathering dust now because I don't bother with it. I don't know why the games have been made difficult to play.

I bought the Sega Mega Drive mini but I'm regretting it because some of the games are difficult while others are crap. One game on the mini that is very difficult is Probotector......could not get a start on that kept getting killed at the beginning because there were too many enemies. I gave up. Sorry to say this but the Sega Mega Drive mini has bad selection of games. The only games worth playing on it are Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic 2 and Sonic Speedball....the rest are either too difficult of just crap.
