Good comparison video....I have the saragosa 5000 myself..(call her goose). Maybe you could make an arsenal video ( your collection of reels). Been watching 👀 your channel for a while now and know you have several. I'm upto 25 now myself.

Thank you. I used to have many Penn reels, but I sold 4 for cheap. I was going to look into the new Slammer Dx. But I couldn't justify the price. Then I went for the Stradic SW. Since the Yen is not strong.

Saragossa has drag washers on the top and bottom of spool. Stradic top only

Thank you. I thought the bottom was the drag clicker. I guess behind the clicker has more drag washers.

That part about being better water protection. I don't know. I saw many seals before I bought this reel. That's why I was disappointed it was not a clone of the Saragosa. I gotta actually look at both diagram to see if there a difference with seals. Most definitely the drag clicker is different.

@@sparkyishii4583 Saragosa is designed for off shore and inshore fishing... but stradic is primarily for inshore fishing only.. Saragosa weight is little higher side (due to robust build quality) compared to stradic.

They have the same body and internals, so no difference in seals or build. Only difference is the handle knob, colour and drag clicker.

hey man, i had huge issues with my certate sw 6k, it became really noisy and lost most of its out of box smoothness. only had it for a month. Is your certate still quiet and smooth?

Yes. But for about 6 months I have not been fishing. My personal life changed. So I have no time to fish. So my reel have been just sitting.

Can i used spool 6000 at 5000 reel for stradic Sw ?

@wenz3698 I don't know the answer. I don't own a 6000 sized Stradic SW. I would assume so. Recently I am Daiwa heavy. After trying Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa. Daiwa treated me the best.

You rather downgrade your reel from saragosa to stradic? Why? It is super popular in where I live with saragosa. And if you buy stradic from Japanese market, how do you get it to service. Damn I love the new handle on stradic sw. Can that fit the saragosa?

Yes it fits right on. But right now fishing is the last thing I am doing. Personal problems

@@vsonic86 no depression. My Son's mother split up. So my days off is spent with my son. I took him fishing once. But he loves riding bicycle. Once he goes to school I may have time to fish.

I don't know about spheros. I have not the pleasure of owning a spheros sw. It has many seals like the Saragosa SW.

Sorry I sold the Saragosa. On the other hand, things at home changed. No time for fishing. I don't see when I can make time. There's no light at the end of the tunnel.

Stradic sw is a spheros with a better bail 😅. Stradic with a Saragossa spool = Stragossa

The stradic sw 5000 is built off Saragossa platform. Stradic sw 4000 is different from bigger stradic sw’s.
