I don't really mind the covers, I personally think it adds something But definitely could have been nice if they were vibrant As for the photobook concept, I'm pretty sure it is different, no? There was the colourful one with the tigers and all, then the one with the amps which I think is the main trailer outfits and then the one where Hyunjin has the green fluffy coat. This is also from the trailer but at the end, when they walk on the building I hope I'm making sense 😅

The digipacks remind me of the basic way that CD were sold in the 90s. The outside sort of reminds me of the CDs that you'd buy from underground rappers outside of clubs in the 90s. It would be a homemade CD with the insert cover just being a printed photo out of a normal printer. 😂And with all the 90s hip hop and R&B feels that the album has... It kind of feels like the right aesthetic to me. (Probably not what they intended. Just a happy, accidental vibe.)

Oohh that's a fun way to put it!! I dont know if I would have ever made that kind of connection. I can definently see what you mean. The washed colors kind of have a underground, harder feel to them. Whether intentional or not...🤔🤔 haha

I love the look of it! I appreciate it so much seeing these massive kpop groups make an effort to be eco-conscious knowing how much of a hyperconsuming industry kpop collecting is. Personal preference wise, i think it’s actually really nice. It’s a pretty rustic look that i think lots of people will like too, no need to edit its original art 😅

I actually like the washed up cover for the cd. It gives like a rustic vibe . Like Spacey in a way. I Always buy from apple music. Their pobs are so good always. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I can't wait for my albums to come

I do agree. I like that they used recycled materials but sad that it's not as vibrant in color. It's not a bad look, just a different vibe then how bright and colorful the pictures and artwork are. If it was more based on the orange outfits then that material matches more. But everyone has their own taste. It's really just not what I expected.

I liked that it wasn’t the plastic of a jewel case and it’s more eco friendly but I was definitely a little disappointed just people I loved those photos but at the same time I do feel like it just makes it more exciting once you see the color inside. Idk if it’s growing on me but the longer I look at it the more I like it.

Thank you for giving your honest opinion 😅 I'm glad we agree on that. The covers here on your video don't look as bad because you have incredible lighting. But I saw people unboxing this and that wierd texture on the covers looked terrible... I get what you mean that it looks like they stayed under the Sun. The art is amazing, but it really needed to be on a different paper texture (you could have still used the soy ink) to really make them pop and give the art the attention it deserved...

Amazing pulls, Jess! This is my first time buying a member version with my limited because the store let me choose Channie. So I'm super excited! It was shipped today, hopefully in 10 days I'll have them in my hands. I like the materials they used but I agree that these photos deserved shiny, glossy, and vibrant printing. They are stunning!

They've all been shipped to my korean address though so I just need to have them shipped to me once they arrive. I actually like the covers, I think they look kinda cute the way the colors are dull (maybe that's because I'm a huge fan of that craft paper like finish). The only thing that bothers me a little bit is the way the CD, the photobook and the photocards are stored in the album, it just looks kinda off to me, I think they could've made a better work on that part. I loved your video by the way 💜

personally i actually like the design on the digipacks and how they arent super bright. 5 star is the first era im trying to collect each album from and i love how the digipacks are kinda toned down in color. no offense the limited edition version looks like an eyesore 😭

I went back to the album detail posts to see if I missed anything and it does say "paper case". I guess I just didnt assume it would be that darker, kind of cardboard type of paper...its an interesting choice for sure 😂

Oh, definitely! I dont think that means they should skimp out on quality though 👌 I would love to see jyp come out with their version of platform albums that other companies are adopting which is essentially a small pack with photocards inside and a digital album code! They could be cheaper to produce and sell, but still provides photocards which many of us want to have~~
