Mazinger was my first mech I grew up on so this design takes me right back to the mid 80’s. I’m so tempted to get this

Bruh that thing looks so good that half of me really wants to become a fan of that franchise to justify getting it while the other half of me is like "screw that, just get it" and then both halves are like "oh wait i cant afford anything right now, especially not an import"

It's really quite nice. A beautiful premium product that hits me right in the nostalgia and wallet lol

The legs have pearl/metal flakes* in their paint & this is a stunning product that Bandai made as well *pearl/metal flakes are tiny shiny confetti pieces to help make yhe painted object look more pretty & expensive

Nice. Yeah, it's such a nice finish. It's so buttery smooth while still maintaining joint integrity!

Mazinger was one of my first Mecha Anime. It was a toss up between Mazinger and Voltron. I forget which I saw first. You gotta see if you can get a figure of the Korean Mazinger to stand with this guy.
@BotBenderOrinj10 ай бұрын
Yesssssir :) Yeah I watched Voltron in Korea where it was known as "Lion King" lol. Doood I actually bought a plastic model kit of Taekwon-V (Korean mazinger) but that ish broke soon after I assembled it. Paid way too much for it too :( I dont believe there's a SOC equivalent of it unfortunately. It's semblance was comically applied to a Diaclone Diatron (King Dam) bootleg in the 80s lol - thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/images1/1/1220/09/vintage-black-belt-taekwon-robot_1_a331698329aaa229e42821859ff0544b.jpg

I’m more a Getter Robo head, but I like Mazinger 0 and some of the Mazinkaiser variants.

Shin Mazinger was also fun long ago. And if you’re looking for a good knife to replace your hobby knife, I well recommend the Civivi Vision FG. 😄

Nice nice. I never watched Getter, but I know it's he's a part of the Go Nagai universe and a distant cousin of MZ. Have you seen this? This ish is ultra hype vid lol kzbin.info/www/bejne/emeXpneLnpmBpposi=dXpT3yo4CG-T23DX

I was unsure if I had seen that at the start,@@BotBenderOrinj, but then it became obvious that those clips are from Mazinkaiser vs the Great General of Darkness, which I did see... like 20 years ago! 👴

Dude that finish I so crispy, the metallic flake in the paint you speak of, it reminds me of a nice car paint or something. Looks super quality, totally a show piece, but I'm sure you're gonna play around with him lol
@timborice2210 ай бұрын
Holy cow that headship is so frickin tiny the details are insane, and the magnet, to what the heck, that is some love right there, magnet to not disturb the look of the ship itself when it's not attached, man I'm impressed. I like the fact that they included the pop out joints for posing, that's fancyyy

What a work of art 🤌 good looks orinj brothers!
@BotBenderOrinj10 ай бұрын
Haha 1000% All that continues to burn was ignited by his spark lol. Yeah, the finish is ultra nice. Feels and looks ultra premium! Yup, they went innnnnn with the details. I mean, they do regularly product these, so imagine they keep learning and improving on the previous iteration.

@@BotBenderOrinj it's pretty cool to see a totally different bot style and bandai engineering, love how they went around the original design to make it more articulated. It's kinda like how German cars have that little extra engineering for like satisfying clicky buttons or cool cupholders or something that just makes you appreciate the attention they gave it. Veryyyy special guy you got here!!
