I really wish that the Ganondorf amiibo rewards were his sword and robes, would have been cool to see what Link looks like wearing those. Or, what if you got new dragon clothes based on the light dragon and Ganondragon? That would have been amazing!

Thanks for the video! I would like to see a video on the other different Zelda amiibo drops in this game from what you have in your collection. I was curious to know what these new amiibos drop. I honestly forgot to preorder them because I also have been a bit disappointed that the "Special item" we get from amiibos in TOTK are mainly cosmetic paraglider skins, which can be cool, but aren't actually useful items in the game, and tend to be underwhelming designs like half the time (I felt your same reaction to the new paragliders, lol). I really liked the many different (and upgradable!) armor sets and the special weapons that amiibos provided in BotW, they really felt special when you got them and gave you incentive to use amiibos frequently in game to try to get the special drops. And going from having Wolf Link accompany you in the game to replacing him with a pretty paraglider (admittedly, a very cool one) was kinda heartbreaking, so I totally agree with you on the disappointment with Nintendo's effort on amiibo benefits in this game. While I am very happy that they didn't lock the armor sets or special weapons behind amiibo or DLC paywall for this game, they didn't provide nearly as good rewards for amiibos in this game, so I don't really have incentive to get more amiibos or use them much in this game. Might as well just leave the ToTK amiibos in the box for this reason.

The statues are best, still mad i passed on the 20th anniversary twilight link thinking the new one would look cooler and not only was it the better amibo of the 2 but that twilight paraglider seems the best just for the glow effect. Edit: oddly i think my favorite normal glider unlocked in game is the original model, with the one i haven't unlocked(all Addisons assisted) as possibly better for the glow effect.

I'm pretty sure on most of the amiibo, the fabric will be the first thing to show up. It worked for all of mine anyway.

Here in Canada, you have to jump on the Amiibo’s because for some reason Nintendo doesn’t like to sell too many of them here

Maybe they'll still release amiibo for the sages? I didn't get into Legend of Zelda until just before TotK released. I think I've bought every LoZ amiibo they've rereleased since, but I wish Nintendo would rerelease the rest of the BotW set. The bokoblin is the one I was least excited about.

Lol looks like the amibo are as disappointing in use and design as the game is. At least it's consitently bad XD. I have the Starfox and Link amibos from SSBB and they're really well done and designed. I'm happy I got them. Plus having Link from SSBB is the same as Twilight Princess Link so that's 2 in one for me since TP is my fave Zelda game next to OOT.

You're right. The rewards aren't that great. Which is why, as a Ganondorf fan, I'll get the TotK Ganondorf Amiibo just for the sake of having it as a collectible item. I'll just keep it in its box on display on one of my shelves.
