@@thandiinger I would rather say the iPad mini 5 because it is comfortable and durable and a full lamited screen which means there no gap between the screen on the iPad mini 5 but the iPad 8 gen seens like a great iPad but is not durable and break easily so I prefer the iPad mini 5. That's so exciting! I personally use my iPad for note taking, drawing, and watching videos. I would recommend maybe getting an Apple Pencil so that you can draw and take notes on it. You can also customize it with a cute wallpaper, cute app layouts, and more. I just bought the Air 4 in rose gold as well, although I have not opened it yet because I need a case (having to order one). It’s killing me having to wait! I have had the ORIGINAL iPad Air since it came out and it is still working but it cannot update anymore, so here I am! So excited! How much is the iPad and pencil together?

The iPad alone was $599 on Apple's website. However, I got the pencil from Apple's store on Amazon. The pencil was cheaper on Amazon and it was about $125 dollars. So, in total (including tax) it was $782.
