Thank you for the video couldnt figure out how to work the machine as it is my first. Would love to see another video welding mig flux.

Thanks for watching. We are going to get a video up doing some welding with it. It’s been too hot here to do much of anything in the shop, but I have some projects coming that need some welding. I normally run solid wire and shielding gas, but do plan on picking up a roll of flux core wire to try in it next time I’m in town so stay tuned!

Thats great you can weld arc & mig with the same welder, the power cable looks short, be nice if the ground cable was longer,.

Yes it would be nice to have a bit longer lead, but I plan on making a heavy duty extension cord to run it on 220 and should be able to reach anywhere I need to in the shop with it

How high does the amps go on 110 mig? Was it maxed out at 120 on synergic mode?

@@jeffkohler21 honestly I don’t think I even looked, I will make sure to look at that when we are out at the farm tomorrow and let you know, plan on doing a little welding with it tomorrow afternoon

How are you liking your welder? I'm getting one in tomorrow... To be honest, it seems to be the best one for the capacity of the unit. I've combed over Amazon and I just can't find another that will come nearly as close to it. The other either have a terrible duty cycle or they hide the fact that you can't dial them in manually... I'm using Google's Gemini AI to help create conversion charts for metric filter and feed rates. It does appear that you can convert it to inches though. Either way, I'm not dragging my 3k tig rig out to do an overhaul on a brush hog... This little welder is going to see some hard work! 6010 rods included. I'll try anyways.

So far I’ve been really happy with it. I’ve ran almost a full spool of solid wire through it and haven’t had any complaints. I tried it with some 6011 one day just piddling around and wasn’t very happy with the results, seemed like it was low on power. I was running on 110v so that may have been part of it. One of these days I’ll get caught up and get everything set up to run on 220v and see if it does any better. But overall for the price and the purpose for which I bought this machine it has been great.

@@TractorTalesCattleTails Well, that machine is actually just that good! Geez! 😆👍Is surprising how well it does, I'm really impressed. Finally got onto my brush hog repair and started out in synergic, dropped the volts and increased the wire by .2 each. Dimed out on 3/16" plate and perfect on the backside penetration too. That's a hard welder to beat and for the price... Miller and Lincoln better wake up, they're getting undercut with equally clean welds. I still plan to burn that 1/8" 6010 lol! We shall see... I may actually make a video of that. People may want to see, but I'm actually good at cheating with weaker machines etc, but I have high hopes it'll burn one.
