I also consider 32" too big. Perhaps I will consider this monitor.

It is personal for sure - everyone's eyes and desk space is different. But I agree. I like to have the entire monitor in view without turning my head. If I have to move my head side to side to see the monitor, then it is extra straining.

Nice unboxing video :) I have this monitor and love it. A bit of advise for those who want to buy it. If you read the unpack flyer, you'll see that it suggest you to tear the monitor cover in the middle and attach the stand before taking it out of the box. So you can safely attach the stand without worrying you'll scratch the monitor. And on the back of the flyer, it will tell you to tilt up a bit before turn the monitor to portrait so the edge doesn't hit the floor.

Good tips!! I was totally annoyed during editing that I bumped the bottom edge while turning it portrait. 😆

Two years have passed and I still wait for a reasonable 24" 4k unit...I feel uncomfortable working with 27" nor have enough room for that and 24" with 4k + reasonable scaling is really close to the quality we have on smartphones.
@BensTechLab Жыл бұрын
While I can understand your thinking... having the 27" for a few years only made me also buy the 32". 24" is just too small for 4k worth of pixels. I did also upgrade my desk so it is now 27.5" deep instead of 24" deep before, and that +2.5" further away did make a difference. I'd suggest you try getting the monitor just a bit further away from you using monitor arm and pulling your desk a few inches off the wall. But hey everyone's eyeballs are different! If it just doesn't work for you - I do get it.

I know its not 6k but I have to say this: Get a u3220K , Cover the dell logo with a black marker, and it looks like a pro display xdr :)) My friend did that a couple of months ago and it even got me Lmao. Great video btw
@BensTechLab3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Just what I need.... to spend more money! Ha, ha. The prodisplay XDR is *beautiful* for sure. But I don't need 6k as I'm not a creative like a photographer. 4k is good enough for me. So maybe another Dell could one day be in my future??

hey man, great video. Let me ask you this: I got the dellu2720Q and I love it and I'm thinking to buy a PS5 and use momentarily the monitor for gaming until I'll got in my hands a LED specially for that. Can I do this? or it will be a problem. Thanks for you comments!
@BensTechLab3 жыл бұрын
Oh sure, it'll work great!! I'm not a huge gamer, so for me 60hz max refresh rate is just fine. I'm also not a PlayStation person, so I don't even know if a playstation is capable of more than 60hz frame rate. That said some "gaming monitors" will feature much higher refresh rates like 144hz. I'd say this monitor would be awesome and better than most people's home TVs.

TL;DR; - The Dell U2720Q is a nice 16:9 aspect ratio 27" 4k monitor. - You can buy the Dell U2720Q on Amazon: geni.us/PL3sd (paid link) - Includes most common cables required in the box. - Works well on a monitor arm!
