First hunt was ok good finds,wish I'd had longer in the field as I went out the next day and got coin after coin lol (equinox)

Interesting! The original model they sell sounds slow to me on other vids but this seems more snappy. And for pure selfishness, on the beach would be cool 🙂
@Hadesdetecting2 жыл бұрын
Taken it to a beach,the actual beach was Barron I found £1.I thought it must be the machine and I'd taken the equinox with me so swing that for acouple of hours and not a single coin .Ill be trying a different beach

I’d love to see it on the beach
@Hadesdetecting2 жыл бұрын
Have tried but the beach was like a toilet roll shop during the pandemic...nothing apart from a quid,I took the equinox and got nothing with that so I'll be trying another beach.Handled wet sand well no falsing,so will also be hitting the rocks.Its durability over time I see being the only slight issue,it weighs less than a kilo

Which do you prefer out of the Dr.Otek or the TX850? I've been looking at both and can't Plus one called Nokta makro simplex for £280
@Hadesdetecting2 жыл бұрын
Never used the simplex,check out south coast Detecting,he uses one.Tough to choose between the MTXE and the Tx850,I think they will probably bring out another coil for the MTXE (the price is good if you use the discount code in the description)which would make this my choice if you can change the coils

@@Hadesdetecting thanks for advice. I've noticed on Amazon there is another Dr.Otek MTXR was just wondering if that is an upgrade version. Priced at £134 for a kit

@@daveperrin9408 I think it's the next machine up,I may be getting one to try/review in a few months so I'll be interested to see the difference

@@daveperrin9408 if you do get a simplex Arron from South coast Detecting has a discount code for LP detector stockists so that may save you some money

hello my niece really wants a metal detector for xmass! Shes 8 years old. Will this be suitable for her. please help me lol
@Hadesdetecting2 жыл бұрын
Hi,there is a children's version but your niece my be better off with this one as it's very simple to use with adults assistance in the beginning.The machine is light weight and should adjust to her height well.Take a look at the Drotek child's machine and see what you think

I'd love to get into metal detecting but not sure of the law and permission to go places. I've been tempted to get my first detector got a budget of £250 is there any better one's that are decent for that price? Also are there any metal detecting clubs or groups that take new member's. Any advice would be much appreciated 👍
@Hadesdetecting2 жыл бұрын
Take it that all land has an owner (even parks and open spaces) permission needs to be sort to detect.Beaches are different,check the crown estates map and local gov website to find out.Plenty of clubs country wide and at certain times of year 'rallies',I attended one last weekend.Do research,ask around and make sure you know the law....Good luck if you decide to have a go

@@Hadesdetecting Hi mate. Thanks for the advice much appreciated. There is alot of history of battles that took place near me. Fields that a farmer owns. Story's of battles on horse back. Plus mile and half away there is an old ruin castle dating back 1107. Thanks for replying. I appreciate it. I'll do my research first. There don't seem to be any groups or clubs near me. But will keep looking. Might ask the farmer who lives near me for permission. I've subscribed to your channel. 👍
