I see you have heard of it also. It is specially designed to release energy slowly over a 6 hour period as opposed to stronger burst of energy over a 3 hour period. The latter being more appropriate for most non-electric mtb rides. Did you hear about the emtb rated gloves? The glove is made of a cooling material that helps prevent hands from sweating. This way when you take your glove off to remove your battery, your sweat won't accidentally drip off onto the battery connections.

It's always very difficult to choose en new saddle, some will love it, others hate it. Anatomy happens to be very individual... But I think it's worth a try !

My mate has a Ergon Seat, he loves it! (I was fitted for a saddle - "Specialised" and it was a waste of £65) ;-( I would have liked to try a Ergon, but find it could be a bit pricey if it doesn't work for me, so haven't bought one ;-( So having the chance to win a saddle is deffo a winner winner chicken dinner in my opinion. I kinda see the point of this. About 8-10 yrs ago I purchased a seat, for my hybrid Giant, called Nebula Plus. I think it was a Bontrager product. Any ways, for the purchase I was required to sit on a computerized plate. ( I suppose this measured my sit bones). Somehow the data was retrieved and I was matched with a seat. There may have been several different sizes available but I got the size and fit that I still use today. I recently installed this seat on my emtb because I can sit and use this seat for up to 5 hours (no saddle sores, no numbness, no fatigue). I don’t think a regular seat would give me the same feeling. Because I use the dropper post very often during a ride I’m able too travel over rocky and rough terrain for extended periods of time. I think I could only do this on an EMTB. I also think that the flex in this seat is helpful too.

Hey guys I just looked up on the web and those seat are totally different. Even on the Ergon you tube it’s different, it’s has an actual cut out in the seat and none of exposed foam either. Just asking as I’m interested in the seat just don’t want to buy the wrong one Cheers 👍🏼

i had one of these, simply the most uncomfortable seat ive ever owned on any bike. So hard, the lip had no benefit to climbing whatsoever, pure marketing ploy. Don't be fooled!

I have changed stock haibike for ergon e-mountain man sport, stock was better. It is hard I can't feel support during climb. I would not buy it second time.

They are great for comfort and mine only lasted three weeks and started to peel at the front and with emtb OCD it had to go in the shed sad and alone they need to be tougher for the money so spent £80 on a selle

I find i spend more time in the Saddle on my Ebike as I never need to stop to take photos (I'm not having a rest.. honest) like I do on my normal bike. I still remain to be convinced wrt this Saddle and the proof will be if Steve uses one on his daily driver bike... I like new kit and tech but with no testing of the claims it's a bit difficult to differentiate this from an Ad.. especially considering only one product is covered.

I have two of these. One for city bike and the other MTB. Great saddles, couldn’t ask for better. I’ve tried the 3D printed from the two main manufactures and was not happy with either. Your experience may vary.

These look interesting. I like a lot of Ergon products. I've been riding a Brooks B17 Imperial for years. I might give one of these a go on a lesser used bike than my primary bike. Always good to see accessories for emtb.

@@renthal2372 the B17 Imperial is the best saddle I've ever ridden. I've had this one for about 6 years. It is firm, but once broken in it's great. I have a box full of saddles I tried and ultimately didn't like. A lot of friends think it looks uncomfortable, but others wouldn't ride anything else.

Anyone know a good way for measuring sit bones? I have tried the normal like sitting on cardboard, tin foil etc, and all I get is the shape of my arse without any sit bones :(

If you can rope someone sensible in to help you, give them a ruler and then put your fingers on the bones. Get the person to measure how far apart your fingers are. Job done. 👍
