So happy for you, I love seeing others get so excited over art supply's, you have been so lucky, obviously very good over 2016 to get such an awesome present. I have the 120 set of Polychromos but I think there must be something really special about getting the beautiful box set, I've always loved the look of Faber Castells boxes. This is really great!You can be very happy! I used the Faber-Castell Polychromos since my school time. I got a great present in August,the Polychromos 120 !But your box is amazing!I am very satisfied with my birthday present, and Faber -Castell is a very old company with wonderful products!

I'd like a nice milled aluminum box instead of wood, personally. Cardboard and stamped aluminum is kinda cheap for what it is, and "hardwood" is ok. Looks nice n fancy. I'd just get nervous messing up the finish. And when everything fits so nice and neat, I'd probably never use any of it just so it stays new.

For those of you who are into this, there is this certain feeling. It's like finding the holy grail. My heart beats out of my chest. It's like all 1 would EVER need.... This would be something I would LOVE to have. I got nothing for christmas, but that's normal for me past few years. I don't even get anything for my birthday apart from a day out with my best friend. This is probably due to the fact that after my mom died in 2012, my family ignores me, and my dad got remarried, but he doesnt have any contact with me either anymore... Sometimes I wish I had my mom back. My mom would actually always get me something. I'm sure she would have gotten me a cheaper version of this, or would have spoiled me by going to the art store with her and giving me a budget. Anyway, You are 1 lucky woman, Hope you'll have an awesome time with these =D In the meantime I'll save up for 1 =D

WHOOHOA THATS BIG. A friend of mine gave their mom one of these :) Have you ever heard of Bruynzeel pencil crayons and watercolor pencils (they also have graphite pencils, but I don't think you use them)? If you ever get them, can you review them compared to the Polychromos? Here in Brazil, the little red boxes are like crayola, for kids. I got an easel for christmas
