Wow! That was the very best engineered box I ever saw. Very good segment! Where else do we get content like this! Very nicely done! Please carry on!

That room desperately needs some room treatment and covering for the windows. The slap echo was very apparent in the recording. The contrast between that room and when Adrian got back to the store was huge. Adrian, do the man a favor and sell him some room treatment. I noticed some Iso-acoustic Gaia's on the floor around the room, but I am not sure where they were used, maybe under the speakers. They did not appear to be under the D'Agostinos. The D'Agostinos were indeed beautiful. Unfortunately, I have never had to opportunity to audition any of that line.

Love these types of videos where you can see products in the field. These are some absolutely badass amps, super super nice - lucky guy!

Adrian, A great video to two reasons; your personal excitement was evident and no Vilip! I was recently in Buffalo and wished it had been possible to drive up and meet you, but...

So at what point is the step up to the Momentums? I would think most XVX owners would take the next step

Love the criticisms of the room...not questions...just criticism. So...could you explain what the room treatment plan might be?
@howardskeivys41843 жыл бұрын
I don’t have the luxury of a separate listening room. My hifi has to fight for it’s right to be, in our family lounge. Wife Acceptance Factor for my rig is an on-going, up hill battle. Room acoustic treatment, well, it’s a choice between that or divorce. A difficult choice, but to date, the wife is winning, only because I’m letting her! Those monoblocks are stunning. If I had a greater disposable income, I’d definitely short list them. Now, this is not a criticism, it’s merely an observation, but the man has evidently invested heavily in his equipment, but that room, has more echo and reverb than a cathedral. That amount of glass can’t help. I think a decent set of inexpensive drapes would be a good starting point.

Very Nice amplifiers! Only a lot of negative force at the balance cabels. Its better to loose them a little more

I just order the Mono block. Very interested to know the classic meter is actually from Breguet. I would like to know which model it is if posslble

How u doing. I’m looking for the McIntosh ma7200. Cause they don’t make this model for the u.s. and I don’t want the receiver version of this amp. Would I be able to purchase the ma7200 from you.

Haven't heard any current equipment but never really cared for the Krell amps other then their ability to drive Apogee ribbon speakers. That room was in desperate need of some room treatment.
@VideoArchiveGuy3 жыл бұрын
I never heard a Krell amp I liked. I've never heard a D'Agostino amp I DIDN'T like. Even though it's the same designer, they sound so much better than anything Krell ever shipped.

@@carlosoliveira-rc2xt Not particularly - they always sounded edgy and stereotypically "solid state." By contrast all the D'Agostino amps have been very musical. It always amazed me the same man was responsible for both.
@VideoArchiveGuy3 жыл бұрын
I’ll have to disagree. They got better but still were noticeably edgy as compared to the competition.

Regardless of price, those Nagra VPA's sound better than virtually any solid state amp. I'd say this was a sonic downgrade.

Perhaps the customer wants to leave the system on 24x7; can't do that with tubes.

Why do you Audiophiles (most of you), start your unboxing of these insanely heavy amps from the floor..especially when you had them in your hands in the first place?? Then ypu put them on the table. Please explain your rationale for this behavior. Thank-you

The Audio Excellence ASMR Plastic Wrap Experience... Hahaha. This was difficult to keep watching or listen to. Better off doing the talking and unwrapping in different stages.. especially in a room so terribly reverberating as that one.. Can barely understand what is being said. 🙏🙏🙏.. Looks good with the sound off though. 🤣😇✌👍

Obsessing over gear in a total echo chamber is why people laugh at audiophiles. So embarrassing

Beautiful looking system but must say I lost a bit of respect for your company by selling your friend a system that costs more than a car and sits in that echo chamber. Looks more like looking for company profit as opposed to good company service
