I’ve never seen a retailer that sells it as of 12/1/24.

Don't know your location. I haven't seen it in a store in the US or Canada besides ordering it online. I travelled to Asia (Hong Kong Tom Lee Music to be specific) that sells piano & keyboard. The keyboard comes in different colors including black, white, blue, etc. At the time of the purchase only white was in stock. Other colors were out of stock. It's probably available in other places like Taiwan, Korea & Japan.

This is cool. Thank you. I already bought it before finding this vid though xD. I've been looking into the whole lithium ion battery thing to see if I can bring it on a plane with me and I'm still not sure. What I would really like to know is how to use it on pc. I connect with the cable it came with and it just starts charging. I wanted to do the MIDI thing. Seems I have to install a separate software. I even made ana ccount at their websit and registered the product but no sofwatre to download. Only the manual book.

I had both the laptop and the Folding Piano 88 in the same carry on luggage on a flight, not in the check-in luggage. Definitely need to let both go through the X-Ray machine. The customs people were rather curious if the keyboard was used to hide anything illegal inside. To use the keyboard as a MIDI device to a computer, just plug in the cable. The cable is for both power & MIDI. When you plug in the cable, you should hear a beep sound that MIDI is enabled. I'm using Windows 10 on my computer. Don't need to install any software or driver. Don't know which operating system and program you are using. Some programs like MuseScore there is an icon you click to turn MIdI on / off.

@@thepianoplayer416 Wow thanks for an answer and so quickly. I do imagine them at the airport unfolding the piano in front of everybody to check what it is and then going like "oh this is pretty cool... Ok, no bombs here" xD. Yea my laptop did that connecting sound and on Bluetooth and Devices even showed the piano but nothing opened up. I'm using Win11. I've been looking at MidiEditor, Can also see about that MuseScore.

Is it weighted

Definitely not wighted. The keys feel like cheap plastic. Otherwise it's sort of playable when doing easier pieces. So far I haven't seen a retailer that sells it in the US or Canada so can't really try it at the store. I did find it in a store in Asia so I did try it before buying it.
