I have the FS-3 and is a great simple switch well built. Should last a long time with normal use! 73, K9YTT

I have the FS-3 and has been a good foot-switch as I haven't had any issues with it.

That’s good to know, David. My FS-2 still works. I’m really amazed. It has to be nearing 20 years old. In fact, I had to reconnect it so I could use the QRM Eliminator, to cancel this awful power pole noise. I finally heard from the power company about my noise. They are contracting the RFI specialist who retired. He will be here next week. He retired 4 years ago and that haven’t been able to find a suitable replacement.

Great video Doug as usual ! Why don’t you use the VOX on the 5000, which also makes it hands free, and not purchase the Heil foot switch ???

I use VOX occasionally. I especially use it when I’m using my headset.
