Finally got my hands on the Mackie DL16S! Here's a quick unboxing video for my friends out there in the world who are curious to see how it looks like. I will be using this mixer for the next couple of weeks to try out at my performances.

Don't have to worry about dropping a Mackie. When I worked at a music store the Mackie rep came in and demonstrated the toughness of their gear by flying one of their compact mixer across the room like a frisbee.

Have you tried recording with it? I've tried using it in my daw & the audio is low even with the gain up. Do you have any tips?

its posible to send audio from the same pc , via ethernet as a mixing channel?

I have tried using the USB port to send my Spotify Playlist into the mixer. On your Master Fader App, it should be Return 1-2, a stereo channel for mixing. Great way to save on external audio sources. I'm pretty sure you can send other audio sources through the USB channel as long as you route it correctly!

Is it possible to stream out the audio output of a digital keyboard wirelessly into a wireless digital mixer by using any device(s) at the output port(s)?

You will need a wireless transmitter and receiver in order to do this.

Hey question, do you ever use Ableton? I wanted to set up a rig with the DL 16 as the audio interface and have all the inputs AND outputs. Everything I read says you can use the imputs, but can’t find anything about the outputs..... what you think?

I use Logic Pro for my recordings with the DL and so far I don't have any issues with the outputs...
